It's not terrible DS game, but very entertaining. Despite the idiotic AI and control schemes, the extra swag will actually entice you to play more. Not the best lego game i've played, but its at least funny and solid.

i funny enough, really enjoyed the game, the way we could explore gotham, play new characters and even complete the game in a copuple of days,, its very addictive but lovable at the same time, i couldnt stop playing and got a hit from my grandma for playing too much, so all in all, truly great game, well done the people who made this game at TT.

Consider this game like a Batman skin for the previous Lego games. Too similar and without a decent level design (it's stupid to press a button to release a Lego kit to build another button to be able to press another button etc). If you already have a Lego Star wars or Lego Indiana Jones forget this one. If you don't, try these ones rather than Lego Batman.

I absolutely love this game. I played all the Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones and this is by far the best one yet. My boyfriend introduced me to the lego series and I have love it ever since. The graphics in this version has improved and the mobility of the characters have been perfected. Alot of things to do and accomplish. I recommend this anyone, esp. girls like me who don't always like to play war/fighting games! Expand

Next to Batman: Arkham City, this is the best Batman game ever (especially for kids under 13.) With boss fights are every corner, Batman Action, and everything else, how could you ask for a better family game. This is a must buy for anyone who plays on their Nintendo Ds,

I love Batman and this was a really fun game. LEGO games are already addictive enough but throw Batman in the mix and its great. The only real problem is the AI in the game, it could have been a little more challenging in my opinion but its still a great game. If you like LEGO games and have a DS than this is a must buy.

One of my favorite games of all time, I love it so much. Why dont they make lego batman games like this anymore?

Variant on the Lost Vikings format where you switch between characters to solve simple puzzles and progress through the 3D platform levels. A little too linear and easy to be considered an essential purchase, but it's fun while it lasts.

With vehicles, suits and lots of classic characters, LEGO Batman: The Videogame is a fun DS game worth your time. It's not as attractive as the PSP version and it doesn't take great advantage of the hardware, but if Nintendo's system is all you own, it's worth a trip to the Batcave.

LEGO Batman is great fun, but it's too easy and too familiar to get really excited about. [Nov 2008, p.92]
  3. No challenge, but weirdly addicting, with lots of secrets to come back for.
