At its best the game is a fun little handheld racer that offers some cool tracks, but those fun moments are sandwiched between long periods of stale design and repetitive racing.

The game-play is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the sheer enjoyment will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also the games nihilistic outlook, which is deftly reflective of the hardware's capabilities. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this game, to realise that this game says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike This magical rolercoaster of a masterpiece truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the sheer exitement of getting all the vehicles and knowing how B A L A N C E D this game is. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as the games genius unfolds itself on their handheld console. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a tattoo of the box art. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Full Review »
