RodanM.Dec 12, 2007The reviews are al spot on if you are a 30 year old Godzilla fan. However if you are a kid and looking for a good time this is a great game. I got this for my kids and they cannot stop playing this game.

Oct 8, 2011A shallow, horrible looking game that loses its appeal within a half hour. The game is devoid of story and gameplay is a jumbled mess. There is no real reason to buy this game.

Aug 8, 2022This game sucks. I was promised a Nintendo DS version of Godzilla Unleashed, instead I got a useless barely functioning cash grab. Toho should be ashamed such an amazing creature like Godzilla has his name on this.

None of the recent Godzilla games have been very good, but at least they were fun. Godzilla: Unleashed Double Smash cannot make this claim. It looks terrible, and reduces the King of the Monsters to a mush of no-texture polygons, then puts him in a tedious series of punching planes and kicking boats.

The plodding and imperfect gameplay, poor visuals, nonexistent story, and terrible controls combine to create an experience best avoided.

After having hernia surgery, a friend (seeing how much pain I was in) turned to me and said, “It could always be worse.” Remember that while playing Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash. It could always be worse.
