    As a Crash Bandicoot fan, I was totally shocked to see that he was given a complete reboot, and a strange one at that. In an attempt to welcome a change in my favorite IP, I gave the DS version a go since I heard it was the superior version. I was pleased to see that the gameplay in this version wasn't totally different from the PS1 games, though it did have some differences. The goal toAs a Crash Bandicoot fan, I was totally shocked to see that he was given a complete reboot, and a strange one at that. In an attempt to welcome a change in my favorite IP, I gave the DS version a go since I heard it was the superior version. I was pleased to see that the gameplay in this version wasn't totally different from the PS1 games, though it did have some differences. The goal to collect the crystal at the end of the level still exists, but added to it is Crash's ability to fight in beat-em-up style as well as the Titans. I thought this as a good edition, though Crash felt stiff to control, even more so the Titans. Though there's only 8 levels total, the replay value is still there with the option to break crates and find tiki masks.
    The presentation for the most part is good for the DS. The graphics are well done and animated with good use of color. The music is mostly unmemorable, except the theme for the jungle level in the first world, but that's it. Added to this is annoying voice-acting, terribly forced jokes and puns, and stupid sound bits such as Crash farting as he jumps.
    The story of the game features the same characters from past games, but they're completely redone, mostly for the worst. Crash has gone from a cool, insanely fun hero to a stupid, insanely annoying idiot. Cortex has gone from a fun, memorable villain to a walking, pathetic bag of jokes. The rest of the characters aren't much better with the exception of Nina. Instead of being creepy and strange, now she's the same but with a better design and diabolical character. She's the only improvement.
    Throughout playing this game, I couldn't help but feel I was playing a satire of Crash Bandicoot rather than a reboot. Everything good I've mentioned about this game eventually wears off and then I'm left only with something that's trying to be Crash Bandicoot, yet, at the same time, isn't trying at all. I respect the effort, but I just can't help but ask, "Why?" as I play this game.    … Expand

    This game is so good, and it's with full 8-directional movement! That's a feat! The gameplay is very unique. It focuses more on beating up enemies, and the gimmick in this game is being able to capture enemies and take control of their abilities. Where have I heard that before? Hmmmmmm? And it actually works well. This is just a great game overall. I don't know what else to say. Go pick itThis game is so good, and it's with full 8-directional movement! That's a feat!     I do not have a lot to say about this game other than IT FEELS LIKE CRASH AND DESERVES MORE ATTENTION and It is over too soon. But it kind of feels a bit better than the console version because you know it is crash. And It is a good platformer without crash. 8/10 Great job Developers!

    This game is surprisingly solid for a DS game, with unlockable concept art, boxes, crystals and bonus levels, this feels like a Classic Crash game, and that is quite an accomplishment.

    Este es por lejos la versión definitiva de este juego, tiene todo lo que necesita un Crash y es de los mejores juegos que he probado en la nintendo ds

    Forget the Playstation version: this is way better. Innovative and too underrated in my opinion, this game was a blast back when i first played it. Once you get a hang of the controls, it's really fun to play!

    "Crash Of The Titans" es un videojuego bastante olvidado y en mi opinión infravalorado. Es posiblemente uno de los juegos mas divertidos y originales que he jugado y es que tiene aspectos tan positivos como son la jugabilidad y el trabajo de elaboración de los NPC enemigos (en este caso una especie de mutantes o titanes con formas animales, bastante graciosos y ridículos todos ellos), la"Crash Of The Titans" es un videojuego bastante olvidado y en mi opinión infravalorado. Es posiblemente uno de los juegos mas divertidos y originales que he jugado y es que tiene aspectos tan positivos como son la jugabilidad y el trabajo de elaboración de los NPC enemigos (en este caso una especie de mutantes o titanes con formas animales, bastante graciosos y ridículos todos ellos), la posibilidad de movimiento y combate con los enemigos ya nombrados (esto ultimo es posible gracias a que contamos con la máscara "Aku-Aku", una especie de máscara ritual parlante que nos brinda esa habilidad, exactamente la de poseer de cierta forma a los enemigos y controlarlos y atacar y eliminar otros enemigos), de poder mejorar la vitalidad, fuerza... de Crash Bandicoot y por supuesto no nos olvidemos de la máquina de estilo gacha que hay en la isla de incio, con la cual podemos adquirir mas dinero del juego (el llamado "Mojo") . La historia está ambientada en unas islas de estilo tropical y en este caso "Neo Córtex" y su banda de villanos serán los objetivos principales.
    Es un juego como ya he dicho muy infravalorado, divertido, original y en el que no sobra la acción en forma de patadas y puñetazos icónicos de Crash Bandicoot.    … Expand

    3D platformer that's very much the Crash Bandicoot Playstation owners will be familiar with. Okay, but there's much better out there - Mario 64 being a prime example.
