This game is a lot like Streets of Rage, not only in its gameplay, but in that you'll want to take to the streets in a fit of rage after playing. Not only that, since B is jump and X is pick up item, I constantly find myself reversing the two. The control scheme is completely backwards to what I expect it to be. The only saving grace of this game is that only one person needs to waste their money on it thanks to Download Play. Expand

ccfrek2k don't know a thing. This game is **** spectaluar I remember when I used to play it with my bro and our friends and our girlfriends when we were like 10 y/o. The gameplay is absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed a lot playing it. A game where the winner used to kick the butt of the losers for days and in the end it doesn't even matter. Damn, my ass hurts now since those days. So,ccfrek2k don't know a thing. Damn, my ass hurts now since those days. So, what was I saying? Oh yeah! That this game had a very immersive storyline where four children (very similar to each other, 4 real, they are almost identic) acted like adult gangsta punching each other like only Jean Claude Van Damm or my father were used to. In fact, my father is very similar to Alan, the one suited black, oh damn, that black latex suit he use to wear in the game is absolutely the most important and enjoyable thing to see for a child or a grown man who enjoy watching children (who I don't really sure how old are the main characters, I think like 7 y/o bcoz they're really little in the game) punching each other with bombs and pipes. 10/10, this game is a hidden gem. And this review is not a troll-review, I'm kinda serious, very. No cap. Expand

Fun multiplayer partly makes up for lousy solo play. You'll need some willing chums. [Mar 2011, p.104]

Cosmo Fighters shows some promise with its solid gameplay, but its lack of any kind of charm, personality or innovation makes it a difficult game onto which to latch.
