Collectors of classic games could probably feel no remorse picking it up, but all others can safely give it a miss.

This isn’t anywhere near as good as some of the Nintendo DS's other classic remakes, such as Namco's Dig Dug: Digging Strike, which was both fun, innovative, and actually worked properly out of box.

The DS's wireless abilities means that it's able to offer two-player mode on a handheld, which would be tremendous, if it didn't require two copies of the game to play. A ridiculous rip-off for a game nearly two decades old.

The game does a just fine job of porting the original, but unless you already love the game you’re not going to be enamored with its rudimentary play and graphics.

One of the games included with Bubble Bobble Revolution is a genuine classic. The other is so plagued with glitches that it can't even be finished.

But if you're looking for a fresh new take on the old, bubble-blowing action you remember so fondly, Bubble Bobble Revolution just plain blows.

There’s the broken remake of the title, in which you can’t even finish. There’s the classic which, while fun, doesn’t nearly justify the price tag, especially without download play. If you’re really looking to satisfy a Bubble Bobble craving, there are much better ways to do it.

Unfortunately, nostalgia rarely holds up, they couldn't even implement the new system's features and instead of taking something old and reinventing it they made a broken version of a classic game with graphics that have no character.

A very poor remake of a classic arcade game. The Level 30 bug definitely hurts the product, but in all honestly it just makes a bad game worse.

A mother of a rush job, with no pure heart poured into the presentation, the gameplay, or even the testing process.

The updated version is horribly unbalanced and way too difficult to be enjoyed.

Normally, a title like this would garner a much higher score; due to the inherent bugs, however, it feels like the game is half-finished. Since it seems only halfway complete, the score will also be roughly half of what it would be in normal circumstances.
