Feb 18, 2021I'm mostly goin' off my time with this game back when I was a kid (thanks, CycloDS Evolution). I never played the story mode since I didn't find it as fun as the multiplayer. The multiplayer makes it one o' the most fun multiplayer games on the DS and the usage of its dual screens add a lot of variety to it.

May 24, 2023I've never really seen what the fuss is about with this series, and this is just more of the same but with really annoying music.

For fans of the previous Bomberman games, the DS version is easily one of the best in the franchise.

I'm going to be frank: Bomberman DS is the best multiplayer Bomberman game ever. With so many different game modes, options, items, and arenas, there's enough variety that the game never gets old.

A more generous perspective would say it's more of the classic Bomberman multiplayer we've all come to know and love. It's the comfort food of videogames, and if that's enough for you, this is more than sufficient as an 8-player hold-me-over.
