Simple gameplay. Bejeweled-esque matching game, with some basic spot-the-difference, and seek and find gameplay thrown in as well. They tried to implement some story elements, but there's no hook and it's so generic. The gameplay is simple, yet addictive, but it's far too easy. I did manage to get hooked, it's kinda peaceful. Not sure I can recommend over other games like 7 wonders orSimple gameplay. Bejeweled-esque matching game, with some basic spot-the-difference, and seek and find gameplay thrown in as well. The technical issues haunting Gem Quest: 4 Elements are the only things that keep it from being another diamond in the sea of DS games in the market. A sluggish frame rate, muddy graphics and tough controls might be frustrating enough to drive away people. Those who are willing to trudge through it and overlook some flaws, this familiar-yet-different puzzle game can provide a fun experience while it lasts.
