Jul 10, 2022One of the best action RPG ever! Played 20 years ago, play today and it great. Very nice old school level design, secrets and well-developed collectible potential (find all dungeons, all equipment, all runes, complete all quests, etc.). The perfect game for me.

Jan 4, 2022Fun Metrovania game. The story is a bit dumb, but is ok. Not super fast or slow. Great artwork. I had framedrop, almost freeze in tutorials or pickup itens, many times. Besides that, is a good game and you should try!

RogerV.Sep 19, 2004Just because its a diablo clone, doesn't mean its not worth playing. this is by far the best hack n slash in existence. deep, long, difficult, good looking, innovative and great. a must own!!

ChrisH.Aug 26, 2001It is a Diablo clone, but I started playing it about 9:00am, and had to force my self to put it down since I have few days left with my net. Fun, some areas I've been to are annoying laberynth, but I think it is an excellent game.

Dreamcast owners looking for the "Diablo" experience on their console will have a good time with Record of Lodoss War.
-
With its excellent customization features, a huge assortment of items to find, and a good story to keep things interesting, fans looking for some meaty story for their "PSO" action will find Record of Lodoss War a very refreshing gameplay experience.
-
In short form: If you like "Diablo," you'll like Lodoss. If not, steer clear. Just don't pick it up expecting the anime itself in game form.
