    The best football game on 3DS by far. Forget the awful Fifa 3DS and get this one if you want a real football experience on the go. Graphics are very good, game modes numerous, and gameplay is pretty efficient. It's equivalent to an improve PS2 version.

    I've played PES 11 and FIFA 11. Both descent soccer games. PES 12 is certainly an improvement over the PES 11 by expanding such features as league play. You can now play for a league championship and you can also take on the role of a footballer and make your way up the professional ranks.The graphics in both PES games are definetly a cut above FIFA 11. It's biggest draw back is still theI've played PES 11 and FIFA 11. Both descent soccer games. PES 12 is certainly an improvement over the PES 11 by expanding such features as league play. It's biggest draw back is still the lack of licensing of teams though. PES 12 has all of the top tiers for the Italian, Dutch, French, and Spanish Leagues to name a few; no authentic English Premier league or German league. It also has a few individual teams such as Man U. But if you want to play for the Barclays Premiership, you might have to compete against the likes of North London and West Midlands Village. If that doesn't bother you, then this game is a good time waster. Game play is pretty solid.… Expand

    Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is a better version of last year's game. It fixes some of the flaws in the previous version, and adds new modes on top of it. This is what you should expect from an annualized sports game, and while it introduces some problems of its own, it offers a solid soccer experience for the 3DS.

    Overall, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 3D feels like another great entry into the series, but it also feels like little more than an upgrade over PES 2011. It's nice to have a portable version, and it doesn't feel like anything was lost in the transition to the 3DS, but if you have access to a home console iteration, that is definitely the better way to go. It would be great to see Konami put more effort into the accessibility of the game for newcomers, but PES 2012 doesn't address that. Hopefully next year, we'll see a more refined and user-friendly PES - but without losing all of these fantastic modes.

    A fine soccer experience that will be able to satisfy even the most eager, but it also has components that are in need of improvement in the next entry in the series – most of all the online possibilities.
