Jan 6, 2015This game is a lot better that what everyone is making it out to be, the minigames could be a bit longer but overall I am very pleasant with it.
I don´t know how people can give it a 6.2/10, for me it´s a 9/10! -

Feb 13, 2015This game is not as bad as people say it is. I find it pretty decent. The graphics are great for 3DS. The boards are fun and different from each other. The character selection is fine for a handheld. The minigames are good. Mario Party Island Tour is a decent game and you can go pick it up.

Feb 22, 2017I love Mario Party, but this game is terrible. The boards are uninteresting, most of the mini games aren't fun, especially the numerous chance mini games, honestly everything about this game seems lazy, and I'm not a Mario Party hater, I loved most of the first 8 Mario Party games, but since Mario Party 9 for the wii the franchise has been going downhill.

May 4, 2015Mario Party:Island Tour is boring and dull and dragged out. The only thing to make up for it is you can play mini games without going into a full game
-
Jul 8, 2017Some of the minigames are good but I found the boards to be awful, the story is bland, and its not memorable. The graphics are okay but they aren't amazing.

Dec 25, 2013Mario Party Island Tour lacks any depth or fun the originals had. The boards are short, and no skill is involved in playing this game. It is all luck that will lead you to win. The story of the game is non existing. Mini Games only last for a few seconds at most usually. Very disappointed in this long awaited title for the 3ds. Try again Nintendo

Jan 19, 2014All of the boards are extremely short. All the minigames are free-for-all style. The game doesn't have an online mode. All the major features you'd want in a Mario Party game on the 3DS are not in this game.

Feb 13, 2014I usually encourage Nintendo to try new things, but the past 2 Mario Party games have been dreadful. They don't even offer to have the old school mode, its like Mario Party 9 but worse, its literally boring, don't buy it.

Nov 22, 2013Mario Party: Island Tour is pretty good, but does have some issues. First, the single player mode is kinda boring. The boards on this game is fun, but the music is a little lack. Also, the minigames aren't that great unless your playing with a friend. I was looking forward to this game, but was sorda disappointed. Its an okay game, but doesn't have many flaws. With me, scoring a 7.

Feb 13, 2014This game brought nothing new to the table. It just seemed like Nintendo had some extra time and made a new game. It did not focus enough on the mini games, and there were not enough unlockables.
-
Nov 3, 2016The minigames are hard, easy, simple, complex, stupid, and the worst **** piece of **** in the world! The gimmick is to get to the end at least 10 and 9 and advance you do a collect-athon but in this game you just get to the END. The boards are lackluser and suck ass. The story mode is also a big piece of ****

Dec 30, 2013"There's always something new to explore on the Party Islands." If you have played this game, you'll fall over laughing. True, the boards and extras are good, but that's pretty much it. The worst part is Bowser Tower. Bowser turns the sky purple, which is even lamer than kidnapping Peach, and all you do is play mini games.

Dec 27, 2013I do like the unique boards, but some could of been better if they were longer. Most of the minigames are simple but fun, and Bowser's tower is a good way to kill of 30 minutes. Seeing as this game was on a handheld console, I wasn't expecting it to be that great so I wasn't disappointed, but if you buy it make sure to have some friends to play it with you.

Feb 16, 2014The party is over. Mario Party Island Tour is a boring and that's the problem because it depends wholly on multiplayer and if there's none then it fails.
-
Jan 21, 2014It is a very good game! Better (by like 100 points) than Link between worlds! It has creative board rules and fun minigames that MP 9 introduced. But MP 8 is the best.

Jan 9, 2014I don't get the hate for the Mario party games, i'm actually kind of a fan of them. They might not be as good as the Super Mario Galaxy games but they are still a lot of fun, especially with a lot of people playing with you. This Mario Party title succeeds at what I wanted good new mini games and a added multiplier that is a great add on. It is a improvement on Mario Party DS.

Mar 25, 2014I'm not sure why everyone is taking a poop on this game. Its quite fun both solo AND multi-player. Its BEST is against friends but the solo game play isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be.

Apr 13, 2014Nintendo is a master at finding a specific target audience and offer them exactly what they want, sometimes even with a little less quality than usual. Mario Party: Island Tour does just that, speaking to the more casual audience among the owners of Nintendo 3DS.
-
Feb 16, 2014A very slow party game. The majority of the mini games are well done and easy to learn and play, but all the waiting time is killing the pace and joy of playing. A group of players could have some fun, but if you're playing alone - stay away.

Feb 12, 2014There’s little reason to pick up the latest Mario Party. While it has plenty of personality, the majority of the experience is so thin that it struggles to keep your attention.
