From a technical point of view the game is fine, the soundtrack is really cool, the controls work perfect and the 3D effect is really good. But for me the game is just to repetitive, all levels look the same and i can't find enough motivation to play through the game. I also don't like the fact that you have to play through a whole world to make progress. I don't dig the art style as well and the different skins barley change anything. For under 10$ the game alright, despite the flaws i don't regret buying it - but check some videos first to see if it's something for you. If you want a New 3DS exclusive with great 3D and cool soundtrack give it a try - but don't expect a game that you will play for the next 50 hours... Expand

The cross-buy option makes Futuridium EP Deluxe an easy choice for Wii U and New 3DS owners. If you only have the portable, however, then it's still well worth a purchase - it's one of only a small number of downloads on the updated hardware that truly shows what it can do in unison with Unity. It's fun, flashy and just occasionally frustrating, and also a welcome part of the New 3DS library.

Futuridium EP Deluxe brings back the space-themed shoot'em up, this time with a psychedelic atmosphere that will pit the player through fifty levels which will pose a significant amount of challenge - sometimes too much challenge for its own good, as the controls aren't always responsive as they should and level design could use some serious improvements.

The adrenalinic shoot'em up inspired by the eighties' classic masterpiece Uridium has finally come to 3DS. And the 3D effect rocks.
