Definitely get it, it's a true challenge and the feeling of accomplishment you get after beating it is more than enough to justify the purchase. There are two paths, one of them is completely secret and you only get a hint of how to take it after you beat the normal path. You should get this just to play the secret path because it's so much better. This level is so hard, that you may need to start a new file and plan your party from the beginning to prepare them for Apotheosis. One other thing you can do once when you think it has run out of play value is beat it in certain circumstances like: Beat it in less than 1 hour, beat it with Olivia, or my favorite, beat it without Limit Breaker.

One of my most memorable moments in the whole experience with the game was starting a file in Lunatic+ and by 20 hours into the game, beating Apotheosis without Limit Breaker and in less than 40 minutes. Normally, it should take you about 75 hours to even try it and 2 hours to beat it, and in the normal difficulty. What I did was just impressive, but to do it, I had to plan with a lot of anticipation and in several prior play-throughs. I had to know every single skill I wanted, who would marry who and use a very clever strategy. It sounds tedious, but I actually really enjoyed crafting my perfect party.
