    Maldita Castilla EX is based on many classic arcade games, especially Ghost n Goblins, and it succeds taking the best of all those games and creating a really fun and challenging experience. You will have to go for many really fun and well done levels defeating enemies with your weapons, similat to Ghost and Goblins, and you will have to be very smart with your movements, because the gameMaldita Castilla EX is based on many classic arcade games, especially Ghost n Goblins, and it succeds taking the best of all those games and creating a really fun and challenging experience. You will have to go for many really fun and well done levels defeating enemies with your weapons, similat to Ghost and Goblins, and you will have to be very smart with your movements, because the game is very hard, however, is also really fair, you have a lot of checkpoints, even before all the bosses, you have 3 hit points and the contiues are unlimited, so you always will be back for more, creating an addictive experience. The game has also amazing bosses, a great pixel art style, great 3D effect and nice music. The only flaws of the game are kinda made on purpose as a reference to old games, likde many useless weapons and to finish the game, you willl have to find gems in the levels, and some of them are really criptic. Aside from that, the game is great and I recommend it.… Expand

    Juegazo al más puro estilo retro, mezcla entre Willow, Ghost'n'Goblins y muchos más títulos de la época de los 90. Indispensable si te gustan los arcades.

    Short but intense, filled with secrets and with a long and encouraging lifespan, Cursed Castilla EX might get too hard for the less dedicated players but those willing to invest some energy in it will be duly rewarded.

    Retro to its heart, Cursed Castilla EX incorporates suggestions from medieval paintings, locations and chivalry novels - The Amadis of Gaul above all - on top of a plethora of arcade evergreens, such as Black Tiger, Rygar and Rastan. It's a compendium of arcade perfection, and, as such, it comes exceptionally recommended. Now, if only the good people at Abylight would consider porting over The Curse of Issyos, Hydorah and Gaurodan, too…
