    I think this game is great as is on the 3ds. I'm glad the console got some of the wiiU ports. However, I can say it was better on the WiiU because you could blow on the bottom screen of the gamepad, and overall the bottom screen felt more useful on the WiiU.

    It’s a good port but like Kirby’s yarn for 3ds the 3ds is just not made for it.

    Pretty good for a puzzle game. Difficulty isn't enormous, but neither is it too easy, a relatively good balance.

    Игра хороша: гемплеем. Средне: боссами. Плоха: игра короткая, игра лёгкая если часто умирать на одном уровне то игра даст бессмертие. Игра лучше среднего так что 8.

    The adventurous Captain Toad still manages to keep its charm and excitement from the Wii U version with upgrades that makes this version unique compared to the others.

    Toad Tracker on the 3DS is truly a rare surprise from Nintendo, The fact that they are still porting over WiiU titles to the now 7 year old handheld shows that it still has life in 2018. Toad Tracker while not the most visually impressive game was a good candidate for a game to port onto handhelds. It handles well on the 3DS touch screen and runs at a solid 30FPS. Toad Tracker while not the most visually impressive game was a good candidate for a game to port onto handhelds. It handles well on the 3DS touch screen and runs at a solid 30FPS. The game does suffer on visual fidelity due to the lack of an HD screen or any anti-aliasing, But if you can look past that then its a great title that will truly bring hours of fun. Everything is the same as the WiiU version and plays just as expected.

    PROS:
    - Good integration with the touch screen
    - Supports older 3DS models
    - Runs at a good framerate and doesnt lag

    CONS:
    - Suffers from jagged edges due to the low resolution of the 3DS screen
    - Can strain your eyes after playing for a pro-longed period (due to 30FPS + Low resolution)

    Do I Recommended it? - Yes, but only if you don't own a switch.    … Expand

    Bringing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to the 3DS in 2018 might seem strange at first but after a few minutes this will immediately appear as a good decision. Featuring a marvelous 3D effect and an experience that does not fall short of that of it its Wii U and Switch counterparts, this 3DS version of Treasure Tracker only makes concessions on the visual performance and replaces a number of levels with others but that is in no way an obstacle towards making this a marvelous piece of gaming.

    Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was a fun time when it hit the Wii U, and it’s still a fun time today. The new levels are easily some of the best in the game, but they don’t really justify a second purchase. I’m thrilled Nintendo wants to make use of this well-traveled fungi, but I hope the next time I see Captain Toad, he’s going on a completely new adventure.

    It's an astonishing feat to have fully translated this complex console game to a handheld with all the bells and whistles intact, and despite a handful of technical shortcomings, it's still just as adorable and joyous as it was three years ago. The home consoles may offer a more convenient, well-polished version, but 3DS owners could do a lot worse than to delve into the captain's trials in handheld form.
