A decent follow up to the original Ace Attorney trilogy which introduces many new central characters and mechanics; unfortunately it's heavily interconnected story doesn't quite stick the landing. Apollo Justice is enjoyable and engaging, but feels like a bit of a let down compared to it's predecessors.

Not the best in the Ace Attorney series. The casting is not as good than the original trilogy and the cases are not as thrilling as what we've been used to in the series. The final case is really good.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney on 3DS is essentially the same as the DS version released back in 2008. The differences here are fairly minor; there's improved graphics (with the ability to play in 3D unless you're playing on a 2DS system), both English and Japanese versions available (with some background differences between them), and more accessible saving.

For a port of a game about a decade old, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney feels a little overpriced, despite these additions. As a result, I have difficulty recommending it to those who have already played it. However, to those that have not, this is the best version of the game. The main new feature introduced here (absent from the previous three 'main' Ace Attorney games) is Apollo's bracelet, through which you can "perceive" nervous tics of characters who are lying and/or hiding something. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney may lack many of the memorable characters of its predecessors, but it provides an engaging narrative and it has its fair share of plot twists as well.

No entiendo porque existe si el original es de ds y la 3ds es retro-compatibilizare.
Recomiendo comprar a la versión de ds y dejar pasar este remake.

Following the Trilogy, this game introduces a new character, Appolo, which I adore. Overall this game is amazing and definitely a great fitting sequel of the Trilogy. Expand

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is by far the most underrated game in the Ace Attorney franchise. Those people, however, fail to realize that this game has some of the absolute best cases in the series, brings a ton of fun and iconic new mechanics into the game, and has one of the best overall plots in the series, only really falling behind the 6th and 3rd games in the series. The new music is also excellent, and our new protagonist Apollo Justice is one of the best characters in the entire series. Give this game a try, even if you've never played an Ace Attorney game before. Expand

The Ace Attorney fans gave this one WAY too much crap. Apollo is a phenomenal protagonist, I'd argue better than Phoenix, Trucy is one of the best assistants in the series, hobo Phoenix is great, cases 1 and 4 are nothing short of amazing, and even this game's lowest point, being case 3, is... bad, but not as bad as other cases in other games. Just like in the Phoenix Wright trilogy, you get easily hooked by the story and engaged by every trial which always open with some impossible situation your client finds themselves in, and you have to claw yourself up towards the truth, testimony after testimony, plot twist after plot twist. The soundtrack is epic as always.

Even with its flaws, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney proves the series' longevity by remaining a riveting and entertaining romp through its oddball legal world.

Any newcomers intrigued by the Ace Attorney concept should definitely play the original Phoenix Wright trilogy first since Apollo Justice is uneven in tone and quality, but it’s still a worthwhile entry and this remaster is both competent and fairly priced.

It may have taken its time arriving on the 3DS, but Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is just as engaging as it was over ten years ago. Franchise veterans may be a little disappointed by the lack of positive changes in this new version, but those who didn't get to experience franchise's most exciting leap forward in its original incarnation are ensured a fantastic time here, and it's a great way to contemplate the classic series' genius before its brave leap onto the Nintendo Switch in the coming year.
