So just do yourself a favor, get out there and see Ong Bak. You’ll leave the theater bruised and battered, but you'll be happy about it.

Unfortunately, the outcome here is so over-the-top that it’s going to wind up alienating most everyone that sees it.

The one thing that keeps this movie from being an instant classic is its tendency towards childishly goofy humor. I guess it all depends on how you like your funny.

Takes a look at the man’s entire life and grants us an eye-opening look inside his brain. And now that the supposed be-all-end-all documentary has been made, let’s let the guy get some f----- rest, okay?

Fortunately, the filmmakers have quite a few clever tricks up their sleeves, bringing us a smart, refreshing an affectionate skewering of a celebrated genre.

So here it is, an arena rock type film event for lovers of Asian cinema. Good news is that you won’t have that annoying ringing in your ears the day after. Better news is that you’ll have food for thought way after witnessing these spectacles.

No hack job. It has more impact than your Rings, Grudges, Eyes, Dark Waters…out there and it does it with a minimum of actual on-screen scares. Finally, a real filmmaker gives it like it should be given...and it hurts so good.

Thought provoking and brimming with charm, match that with an infectious sense of humor and outstanding performances.

If you like your boys pretty and your stories incredible, this movie is for you.

The cast playing these eccentric characters is magnificent...This is definitely one of the most unique comedies you’ll see all year.

Loaded with tons of personal stories told by both Johns (the two main members of They Might Be Giants) as well as people within the music industry.

The film also doesn't try to wrap things up nice and neat. That's not how life is and that's not how this film goes. But for those who can handle the truth, they should be prepared for a very moving experience. And Freddy Krueger references.

At last, the hopeless romantics and the gorehounds can feast at the same table.

Isn’t just a "gay movie." There are just gay people in it. Anyone can get into this lovable film.

Full force Will Ferrell at his best. And as an added bonus, we all get one of the funniest movies of the year...that is if you don't mind your humor on the rude and crude side.

Congratulations to Robb Moss for making such a crowd-pleaser. But more importantly, congratulations to Moss for having such interesting friends.

Imagine a blend of "The Wizard of Oz," "Beetlejuice" and "Roadside Prophets" and you'll know exactly what Wristcutters is like.

It's clear right away that The Roost is no hack job. It's made by people who have a major love for the genre and generally anything that goes bump in the night.

Incredible because for a 100 minute movie, Alexandra's Project passes like 30. Incredible also that most of those 100 minutes take place in a single living room. It's the tension and performances that pull you through, never letting your attention stray from what's going down on-screen.

It's a touching story of father and son type male bonding -- male bonding with Nick Nolte no less -- that's bound to find some audience members blubbering by film's end.

Good news is that most of the marvelous English dialogue cast from the Cowboy Bebop series has returned for the film. The bad news is that the heart and soul of the series hasn’t.

This is what "Nightmare" fans have been waiting fifteen years for.
