Is Red Dragon a better film than "Manhunter?" I don’t know. I think it stands on its own, but I wonder how much people who are intimately familiar with "Manhunter" will be shocked by it, although the ending is altogether different and much more realized, I think.

It’s shocking how much Dark Blue hates cops.

Has more than enough charm to make it memorable. Hurt shows a gentleness and subtlety that's interesting to watch in this phase of his career.

Is Looney Tunes: Back in Action a great achievement in animation? No, but I think that's the point of the film -- that the old cartoon characters and drawings are more human than the visual miracles produced by Disney and Pixar.

Proof that an old genre can still have life as long as filmmakers are willing to fill it with energy, humor and respect for the genre. Add cannibals and beautiful teenagers and you’ve got an entertaining horror film.

Works because it pays tribute to these characters. I knew that American Wedding couldn’t be as funny as "American Pie 2" just as that film wasn’t as funny as "American Pie."

Unfolds as a thrilling piece of entertainment, but it has a third act and ending that don’t work and shouldn’t ever work.

After watching this movie, you get the feeling that there’s a lot of people at Harvard who’ve done worse things than rob a bank to get in.

Has no story, no redeeming characters that anyone could care about, and the actors are all on autopilot, completely soaked with their own vanity.

Is he (Rock) the next big thing? After seeing The Rundown, one of the most joyfully silly genre films in recent history, he has my vote.

Half Past Dead would’ve been a bad film without Seagal anyways, but he fails long before any of the other parts do.

Here's a film that exhibits all kinds of joy in uncoiling a story with no ending, or an ending that's so arbitrary you get the feeling that the filmmakers just threw names in a hat to see who their killer would be.

The film is corny, predictable, and manipulative to the point that you feel like there’s electrodes attached from the screen to your brain, but, by the end of this film, I’ll be damned if I didn’t feel genuine affection for it and Lizzie in particular.

Might've been a great film without Lester, the Deputy, getting in the way of the key relationship between Behrani and Kathy.

Here’s a would-be horror film that contains not one ounce of professional pride in its making, not one shred of technical competence. This is one of the worst films of recent times.
