Skate or Die is a great documentary with a positive message that will undoubtedly inspire and empower those who watch it.

A film called My Wonderful Wanda needed more exploration of the title character.

This film is gorgeous, massive in scope, well-written, and superbly acted. It goes beyond being a Michael Bay-explosion fest and definitively transcends action and destruction porn. This is a real movie. Every single issue I had with the original release is fixed—everything from pacing, cinematography, acting, characterization, and even the film’s score.

I think its quirky charm and sense of humor will turn off a lot of people, but if you’re into the weird and unusual you might want to give Dead Pigs a look. It’s far from great, but it’s an entertaining and pleasant enough watch.

Despite being overall quite enjoyable, it feels very rushed in places, especially towards the end, and it fails to cap off Midway’s epic rise and fall as it deserves.

This film could have been something great, but with an unsatisfying ending and a couple of subplots that felt like they didn’t fit, it gets knocked down to just being entertaining.

It’s a laughably bad, generic, and bloodless PG-13 waste of two hours, and that’s everything I fantasized it wouldn’t end up being.

Untouchable is a competently made film, there’s nothing mind-blowing about the presentation of it, but the timely subject matter makes the aesthetic weaknesses more forgivable.

Bad Boys for Life is a fun and competent action comedy with most of all the things people loved about the previous two films. It succeeds in that regard, but it does not successfully succeed in pushing the franchise forward and passing the torch to newer and fresher talent.

In addition to the excellent acting and well-written characters, Doctor Sleep is a delightful visual trip through a hellish winter wonderland.

There’s a darkly unique spin to it that makes the old and tired feel fresh and new. ... This film is straight up magical.

The movie is definitely worth checking out for its strong performances and surprising story.

To me, the film is boring, lifeless, too dreary for its own good, and has really annoying quirks and habits that just irritate me.

Where’s My Roy Cohn? is a great doc that’s a tad aesthetically stale, but it will have a mass appeal even to those unfamiliar with Cohn and uninterested in politics and law.

Divine Love is beautifully shot and wonderfully acted, but for those who are on the religious persuasion it may be too blasphemous, and for those who do not subscribe to a defined religion, it may be too dogmatic and weird.
