The show ran for 7 seasons, and it's popularity lead to the creation of various other primetime soaps, including it's own spin-off Models Inc. and similar shows including Savannah, Pacific Palisades, etc.

UPN's primetime soap is set in Los Angeles' trendy Silver Lake neighborhood, although you wouldn't know it by looking at the cast.
