During the 2017 Manchester International Festival, New Order had a five-night residency at Old Granada Studios, where Joy Division debuted on TV on Tony Wilson's So It Goes in 1978. With a 12-member synthesizer orchestra the dance-rock band played songs that spanned their career plus two songs by Joy Division.
