Thankfully, that free spirited, sunshiny sense of spousal abuse is back! Partnering up with Microsoft to bring a long awaited sequel to the Xbox, Sega is giving retro gamers a new spin under the sun, and plenty more opportunities to get chastised by lovely members of the opposite sex -- even brunettes this time! We take this new Outrun off the lot for a test drive, and discover that the new ride is, amazingly, an awful lot like the old ride. But cooler…And with Xbox Live support. If you’re like us, you have a healthy appreciation for wanton destruction. But how much is too much? GunGrave: Overdose just might hold the answer to this question. With a slick look and a jazzy opening theme, GunGrave: Overdose definitely has style going for it, but does it take it all too far? Join X-Play as we attempt to survive this mega-dose of shooting madness. Honesty really is the best policy, which might be why the makers of this game didn’t feel right about calling it Rainbow Six 4. Instead of losing consumer confidence by being dishonest, they’re admitting—right there in the title, no less—that this is a glorified expansion pack. The original was titled Rainbow Six 3. The “sequel” is called Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow. The 3 kind of gives it away, doesn’t it? But, we decide to take a chance, and look at it anyway. And last, but not least, Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the Game Boy Advance actually manages to one-up its more technologically advanced big brother. The one-two punch of Hitmaker and Treasure has delivered a game that feels like a long lost, undiscovered Genesis title. And we mean that as a compliment. For much more, tune in tonight! Expand
