Summary: Kevin's Birthday is approaching, and Scurvy and Pud decide to hire a hypnotist for the party. Unknown to them, however, Kevin does not want a party, instead he just wants to go fishing with his Dad.

Whilst being booked, the hypnotist makes it plain that he detests boys parties. He threatens that if he is not paid at the beginning of theKevin's Birthday is approaching, and Scurvy and Pud decide to hire a hypnotist for the party. Unknown to them, however, Kevin does not want a party, instead he just wants to go fishing with his Dad.

Whilst being booked, the hypnotist makes it plain that he detests boys parties. He threatens that if he is not paid at the beginning of the party, or if his booking is cancelled, he will hypnotise Pud to act like a dog.

The inevitable happens, and the booking is cancelled. Pud, however, has a heart-to-heart with the hypnotist, and explains how it is unfair that he is always the one that pays for Scurvy's mistakes. The hypnotist suggests that Pud act as a dog, and make Scurvy's life a misery.

Kevin's fishing trip with Dad turns out to be a little chaotic, as Pud pretends to be a dog, and tries to steal the Birthday cake. Scurvy has a rotten time, trying to control his brother.

One consequence of the chaos is that a baby is about to be thrown out of her buggy, which is hurtling towards the lake in which Kevin and Dad are fishing. Kevin makes a brave rescue, and as a result, the mother of the baby feels she is indebted to him, and pays for the hypnotist to come to a party she organises. When he arrives, he helps Pud to pay back Scurvy, and hypnotises him to pretend he is a dog!… Expand
