Summary: Chiko returns to Japan and to her greedy aunt's house with Detective Akine, seemingly having lost her spirit and will to live. Chiko notices a man in the garden one day and talks with him. The man reveals himself to be Kogorou Akechi; a detective after Twenty Faces. Chiko's hope is restored when Akechi hints that Twenty Faces is most likelyChiko returns to Japan and to her greedy aunt's house with Detective Akine, seemingly having lost her spirit and will to live.
