I don't know what the critics expected, it's a reboot of freakin' Full House. They were making it for fans of a previous generation, and hopefully a whole new one. I think it has just enough of the Disney channel vibe to catch new younger viewers and it has adult tones to it to recapture the older fans of the show. If you grew up watching Full House and loved it, you will love this. Expand

I’m taking this show at face value. It’s just continuing Full House. They’re both corny but so what? It’s my guilty binge!

People have waited years for this, so just go see. Critics matter, but not television critics. Why? Because some of these reviews are for the first episode only -- not the whole season... so how does that matter for the whole season exactly? TV critics are irrelevant and society doesn't need 'em.

Some people are complaining about this... But this is what Full House always was. It was just a cheesy, light hearted comedy. If you like Full House, and you remember it for what it was, you're sure to enjoy this. Don't over analyze it. Just watch it, and take it for what it is. It's not bad at all.

This is an amazing series. It preserves all the catchy phrases that the full house cast used. The four children are amazing as well. Max is probably the best. Jackson could be better. Only things missing are the Olsen twins.

LOVE this show. The nostalgia factor is through the roof, and the fact that they are on Netflix is so kick ass, free to do whatever they hell they want writing and content wise. I grew up watching Full House and it's great seeing the old cast back. Is the show corny at times, yes, but still entertaining to watch. Don't listen to the negative reviews, it's worth the watch. Hope they make a second season.

I think the show is fantastic...my wife and kids can't get enough. We love all the original characters and are so happy to see them again. We also enjoy the new characters as well. If you loved the original you should love this. I wish all the actors the best and hope to see many more seasons of Fuller House!

I have been so pleased with the first season of Fuller House! I am so glad that there is finally a show out there that my entire family can watch without embarrassment, frustration, or muting. The standards for TV shows have gone downhill so much in the last 15 years I am excited to sit and watch it with my 9 year old daughter!

Fuller House is not much of an evolution of Full House. It's not smarter, or less cute, or bigger in scope. It doesn't break new ground or even redeem any of Full House's faults; it's merely a continuation of the universe that Full House left behind, with some added boob jokes.

I don't know why people expected this to be anything more than a cheesy nostalgic reminder. It's not high art.

I couldn't stand Full House when I was growing up, but even I found a lot to love in the home-y feel that Fuller House provided. For people who loved the original series, Fuller House scratches an itch. For those that didn't, they may still not like this new series. I did, though. I really thought I wouldn't.

That old school feel good flare. The show picked up right where it left off. No, this does not have the cinematic value of "Game of Thrones", or "The Walking Dead". Nor does it have the intriguing on the edge of your seat storylines. It does however make you feel good, whether you are 8 or 80, male or female. get Michelle back for season 2 and you have a winner.

Do not listen to the critic reviews. This is a thorough entertaining show: light, funny and enthusiatic. I was a big fan of the show in the 80s. This reboot was very much to my liking.

I remember when I use to watch Full House with my daughters. Last night , I watched Fuller House with my grandchildren . Brought back a lot of memories . Maybe the major networks should take a lesson from Netflix and bring back more family shows !!!!

The show is a TOUCH bit dirtier since they aren't on network TV anymore, but still extremely family-friendly. It's been modernized in good ways, cheesy in good ways, and most important: fun. It's tiring to watch so many serious shows like Walking Dead. Whatever happened to predictability, as the original theme song says? It's a refreshing candy-coated break, and I welcome it. The first episode does a nice enough job juxtaposing scenes from the original with parallel scenes in the present, but enjoying Fuller House will require a high tolerance for laugh tracks and corny sitcom humor.
