Summary:
Reporter Nellie Bly (Christina Ricci) goes undercover to investigate the conditions and treatment of patients at New York's infamous Women's Lunatic Asylum. She suffers under the treatment of head nurse, Matron Grady (Judith Light), especially when Dr. Josiah (Josh Bowman) tries to help her in this TV movie inspired by real-life reporter Elizabeth Cochran Seaman (who wrote under the name Nellie Bly).
