Summary: An uncertain Hayley sits alone in the cafe before going to sit on the bench outside the salon to contemplate her life. Becky tells Steve that her solicitor wants to see him at lunchtime but Steve is concerned about how he is going to get away without arousing suspicions with Michelle. Michelle catches him sneaking out of the pub and asks where he is going forcing Steve to lie. But the cat is nearly let out of the bag by a careless Lloyd.
Gary and Len arrive on the Street looking for the Platts and spend the day observing the comings and goings from number the house. Meanwhile Graeme tries to figure out a way to get rid of the stolen car and then asks Ashley for a job.
Darryl discovers that Dev is buying the kebab shop off Jerry who has also decided to get rid of the house. Stunned the pair watch a For Let sign go up at the house and Darryl finds it hard to believe that Amber did not know what her dad was up to, reducing her to tears.
Elsewhere Emily offers Jed a room at her house after he confesses he is dreading going to his new lodgings and Norris loses out on the Cliff Richard competition to a woman called Mary Taylor. … Expand
