Summary: #20601"Clifford Grows Up"This one opens with Emily Elizabeth finished reading a story to Clifford. Clifford then circles three times, like most dogs, before going to bed. Emily Elizabeth remembers how things were when he tried to go to bed back when they lived in the city. She decides to tell him just one more story. So we go back in time,#20601"Clifford Grows Up"This one opens with Emily Elizabeth finished reading a story to Clifford. Clifford then circles three times, like most dogs, before going to bed. Emily Elizabeth remembers how things were when he tried to go to bed back when they lived in the city. She decides to tell him just one more story. So we go back in time, to a night when Clifford was outside the apartment in which the Howards lived, trying to sleep. But there wasn't enough room for him and he simply couldn't get comfortable. So the neighbors all helped out by giving him blankets and a large stuffed teddy bear. With all of these, Clifford was able to go to sleep. Emily Elizabeth then recalls taking Clifford for a walk. During the walk, she and Clifford met up with a Little League baseball team. They were impressed with his huge size and invited him to catch some balls. And Clifford did, everything that was hit at him. Emily Elizabeth recalls that they played at that ballpark all summer. But eventually, dogfood started to pile up around their apartment and Emily Elizabeth's parents realized that living in the city just wasn't working for Clifford. Emily Elizabeth suggested that he could sleep in the ballpark, but actually, they had a different idea: moving to Birdwell Island. And so, they did.#20602"Jetta's Sweater"Jetta's showing Emily Elizabeth some of her nice new sweaters. She piles a bunch on Emily Elizabeth, but Emily Elizabeth is attracted to one that Jetta didn't even show her: a pink one with yellow flower designs. Jetta says that Emily Elizabeth can have it if she wants, since it's not her style. So Emily Elizabeth gladly takes it for her own. Then, Jetta's Mom tells her that her Grandma Ethel is coming on the ferry. It would be nice if Jetta could wear the sweater that Grandma Ethel gave her. Jetta realizes something: that's the sweater she just gave Emily Elizabeth! So she concocts a series of half-baked plans to get the sweater back from Emily Elizabeth, but Clifford keeps foiling them, unawaredly. Finally, Jetta meets her Grandma Ethel at the dock, with Emily Elizabeth wearing the sweater. Emily Elizabeth, being a fast thinker, puts two and two together and tells Jetta's Grandmother Ethel that Jetta let her borrow the sweater because she liked it so much. Later on, Emily Elizabeth tells Jetta that she should have just told her what was wrong, instead of trying to trick her.… Expand
