Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is not a good game. Perhaps if there was a single player campaign, some competent combat, or even some unique online modes, it might be redeeming, but as it stands it is a textbook example of how to ruin a great idea.- ZTGD

The Nintendo Switch is an amazing system that can do some pretty amazing things, but at 6 years old it is struggling to keep up with modern games. Looking at recent releases like Mortal Kombat 1 and the state in which it launched is a great example of even with the best studios and intentions, sometimes the Switch just isn’t up to it. Sad to say that Wartales has also fallen victim to the aging system. As I said I think if I played this on PC my thoughts would be very different but as it stands no matter how much fun the actual gameplay was, dealing with all the issues that the Switch version has just makes it not worth it. Long loading times, unstable framerates and constant crashes managed to steal all the fun out of this one, Wartales is a story best left untold.- ZTGD

At the end of the day I may have bitched a lot about this game, but I still find myself flying over the streets of Metropolis on a daily basis. The truth is the game is fun, even with all the aforementioned issues I had a great time being a hero for the day.- ZTGD

With a combination of linear levels and uninspired level design Fall of XANA does little to entice players into the wonderful world of the show.- ZTGD

It looks great, has a unique theme, a fun world to explore, and is hilarious at times, all while offering a very solid, lengthy, and competent quest. Just be sure to know that sometimes it will make you feel like walking the planks with its handful of minor annoyances and issues.- ZTGD

Koi isn’t a bad game. It just lacks content and a level of polish found in even the smallest of indie games these days. It’s a game that you can load up and just explore, without too much threat involved. But in the same breath, don’t expect too much back in return.- ZTGD

Overall this game is a great concept, but considering it is supposed to be Kinect focused it did not succeed. The majority of the time I spent playing was with a controller. The motion controls did not work well enough, and no doubt if they were more precise, I would be giving it a better score. Perhaps with a future update, the game will function as intended, be less frustrating and more fun.- ZTGD

A fantastic concept poorly executed. All of the visuals and presentation seem in place, but the monotonous gameplay and boring combat really drag down the overall experience.- ZTGD

I Am Bread seems to have been developed for crazy people, or for those that hate themselves. Sure, there is a challenge to be found here, but the rewards don’t justify the means. It simply doesn’t compare to its peers. It has none of Octodad’s humour and none of Surgeon Simulator’s irony.- ZTGD

In the day and age where DLC is sometimes criticized because it could actually have been included in the retail disc, it is nice to see some substantial content for a game that already came packed with so much.- ZTGD

Shadwen is not a bad game, but it is completely in the middle of the road for me. There are some issues that really drag down the gameplay, but at the same time, I really enjoyed the time mechanics.- ZTGD

Fans of hardcore stealth game like the old school Hitman titles may get a lot out of Party Hard, but players thinking this is a action title with a wild premise will be in for a frustrating time. It has a lot going for it, but the gameplay relies far too much on pinpoint execution with no errors, and because many things are random, I end up learning nothing from my last run of the levels.- ZTGD

When I review a game, no matter how bad it may be, I try to find some kind of redeemable feature that stands out, like something that stops the gameplay from being a total letdown. But with Shiny, there just isn’t one. An uninspiring story, bugs and performance issues and frustrating gameplay makes Shiny a game I just cannot recommend for anyone.- ZTGD

Don’t get me wrong, it is a rather creepy game and it can still frighten even the boldest of players, but in the end, it is a single play through game that lasts four hours at the most.- ZTGD

If you are in the mood for some solid third-person action, great hand-to-hand combat, and some kickass driving sequences then this game is certainly worth a second look. Oh and it doesn’t hurt if you are a big fan of Mr. Johnson.- ZTGD

A fantastic narrative wrapped in some decent combat and plagued by poor design decisions. This is actually more disappointing because there is something here you want to experience, but the shortcomings really keep you from doing so.- ZTGD

Unfortunately the end result becomes way too dull long before it should and it results in a game that really could have used a few more months on the design floor.- ZTGD

This game has so much potential, but it is so barren I can’t recommend it. The visual and audio aesthetic are right up my alley, but I found myself bored. It harkens back to the No Man’s Sky release: plenty of space to do absolutely nothing. This feels like early access, not a full retail release. Skip until they announce any potential updates that add content to this.- ZTGD

The combat is satisfying and the mixture of magic keeps things fresh from beginning to end. The backtracking and repetitiveness cause the experience to drag out longer than it needs to be, but at least you feel like you got your moneys worth when all is said and done.- ZTGD

What it all boils down to is a game of hide and seek while trying to avoid various baddies. The game is great for a younger crowd, but the simplicity and monotony will even wear on their nerves after a while.- ZTGD

Although having a few highlights in both the art design and soundtrack, AereA falls down in almost all other areas – a dungeon crawler that offers nothing new, other than a cool concept, and fails in the things that are essential to an action game, such as combat and quest design. It may offer local 4-player co-op, but even playing with friends won’t bring this game to life.- ZTGD

Hurry Up Hedgehog is a decent game for the Nintendo DS that suffers from a few problems, but this board game turned portable video game has some innovative ideas that may lead to more quirky board games finding a home on the Nintendo DS.- ZTGD

At $50, it is not worth a purchase, considering there are better, much less expensive simulation games out there for other platforms. If this was in the $20 – $30 range, it might be a good fit for those that are diehard fans of the genre.- ZTGD

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot feels like something that should be free or included in a bundle for PSVR owners. It doesn’t feel like it warrants its price tag and it is linear and criminally short. Even hardcore fans hoping for more Nazi-killing action should probably avoid this one until it drops way down in price. There just isn’t enough here to warrant the price of admission.- ZTGD
