This will make Nintendo Switch Sports a constantly evolving title that can even double its content over the course of a year or two. The only hope is that Nintendo does not put too much hands on the price of future DLCs and that maybe it can include them in the Online package as already done with other additional content, such as that of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Star Ocean: The Last Hope represent a big step forward for the series of tri-Ace. The combat system it's fun and challenging as well as the crafting system. Graphically the title looks good, except for the animations and PG characterization that deserved more attention. The story unfortunately isn't so good, stuffed with clichƩs and a cast rather weak, such that it can not support many hours of gameplay and meet the real experts of J-Rpg.

NBA Live 18 is a good game, far from the best of the genre, but enjoyable and improved from the last chapter. If you aren't familiar with this kind of game, this could be the game for you.

Despite not being a full on remake and still retaining the flaws of the original game, Mafia II Definitive Edition is a fairly enjoyable experience that, thanks to a good work of remastering, works decently ten years after its first release.

Both Grandia games deserved a much better treatment than the one GungHo gave them, and we really hope the publisher will support the game in the coming weeks, but the sheer value of the titles inside this package is enough to recommend a buy nonetheless for any Switch owner.

Even if we appreciate how Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora tries to give fans an experience similar to living the movies in first-person, all its excessive problems serve to point out that, in case we need to say it, developing a compelling videogame is way different from making a successful movie.

Let It Die is a unique free-to-play game with great settings and gameplay. This souls-like manages to create an engaging experience along the levels of the Tower of Barbs through good combat system and interesting character development. Procedural level design might be a little repetitive but it is a compromise that is worth taking. Multiplayer is solid and well developed as well, it creates genuine competition among the players.

State of Decay, in this Year One Edition, has confirmed to be a good title for all fans of the survival genre, with a constant struggle against the zombies that will never let a moment of respite, constantly forcing us to seek new resources to survive.

Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning is one of those rare cases which a remastered has got its sense out of commercial reasons. A fine tuned narrative background plays well with a stylish system and shining environments, with some good ideas both on scenography and characters. If you will have the will to overcome a game structure that directly comes from 2012, you can rediscover a very underrated game. Let’s just hope they will fix its technical issues.

Resonance of Fate is a good role playing game, probably the best creation from tri-Ace studio so far. A deep combat system allows hardcore players to find what they need, although poor storytelling and a not impressive graphics are two cons to deal with.

Ubisoft brings together three of the most important games of the Assassin's Creed series, forgetting the years that have passed since their release date. The increase in resolution is not enough to modernize gameplay that has been stopped while the world has evolved.

FIFA 21 returns to a more arcady gameplay, going all in for speed and instant fun, and leaving behind last year's (if slight) search for a simulative pace. Though, it's the most refined and complete game in the series when it comes to modes and functionalities, something PES has been struggling to replicate for years.

LEGO The Hobbit, not surprisingly, is yet another good game in the series created by TT Games. Once again, and despite the few innovations, the game was able to conquer our hearts in a few minutes, thanks to its rich contents and great lasting appeal.

Wolfenstein is an average FPS, with main drawbacks like an excessive linearity (partially hidden by the town meta-level, unsuccessfully), a general lack of polish, and poor A.I. A good level design and great scripted fights will please who is looking for some easy fun, but ultimately this is really milking an historical license.

Champions Online is unfortunately not able to give the impression of depth to 360 degrees, and to enthuse those users looking for a real alternative to addiction to games as World of Warcraft or Lineage II. Unlike the novice player who could find in this title a good way to start, knowing that after a few months with their super hero, they could feel the need to try something more complex and satisfying.

It's a completely different experience from SSX and other arcade snowboarding game: compelling to the point of frustration, it will give some satisfaction only if you'll dedicate a lot of time and effort to the learning curve. It's a shame that the many events feel somehow disconnected, making the progression even more difficult to follow.
