In gameplay terms this is a distinct step down from Far Cry 3 itself – DLC should enhance the core game, not make you pine for it – while from an experiential perspective, the trouble with setting out to make something disposable is that, even when you’ve done your job well, you’re left with exactly that.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Another addictive twin-stick blaster enhanced by chasing XP and loot. But a gang of mates is a necessity, as difficulty spikes quickly and brutally. [July 2016, p.87]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

A short, spooky sail into seas that could be schlockier. For all its faults, we’d still recommend getting the gang together for Movie Night mode, and our hopes are still high for the rest of the anthology. [Issue#167, p.90]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

It’s neither long nor difficult, but that’s a large part of the appeal. Breeze through this with a smile on your face and murder in your heart. [Issue#163, p.97]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Classic Id gunplay is attached to an old-fashioned, noisy but danger-free open world. There’s fun to be had but it’s limited and we’ve seen and blown apart these goons before. [Issue#163, p.81]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

A visual treat and fun to play, Oninaki’s only failings are the fault of its retro nature – if that’s what you’re here for, you’ll find few faults. [Issue#167, p.93]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Sadly the online mode is sluggish, and playing against friends is more laborious than it should be. Still, Bend evidently has a passion for the series, and – packed with trivia, and a novel new way to interact with the Uncharted universe – this is no lacklustre spin-off. It can't match your love for Elena, but is a unique combination that deserves its place on your Vita. Especially at just £3.19.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

With plans for naval and ground vehicle combat, War Thunder has the potential to become one of PS4’s darkest horses. It’s punishing, sure – but guiding a precious bird to victory causes your chest to swell with imaginary medals every time.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Generic in places but ultimately redeemed by brilliant combat and some clever roguelike elements, this Dark Souls copycat is a (mostly) worthy contender. [Issue#167, p.87]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Surprisingly for a kart racer, Team Sonic Racing succeeds in bringing something new to the conversation, though it loses some of the spark Transformed had in the process. Mileage may vary. [Issue#163, p.84]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

With a juicy campaign, snappy shooting and ambitious (if glitchy) co-op, this is one piece of poultry you can happily devour. [July 2016, p.94]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

So much of the success of the core series came from the sense of attachment to the characters that developed over time, and that was never going to be possible here.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Although Scrooge’s pogo-stick jump is a tad unresponsive, this is a handsome, crisp platformer that occasionally makes me happier than a duck doing backstroke in a giant bin full of bullion. Well, in-between doing all the swears.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

This is brilliant, challenging and rewarding as you pull impossible stunts out of thin air; but it's hard to get excited about another game in the series with fundamentally the same gameplay so soon. [Christmas 2007, p.108]- Playstation Official Magazine UK

If you’ve played the previous games you’ll be able to spot the scares a mile away... and you’ll likely pine for the panic and purity of the original in the face of so many changes. But taken in isolation, Dead Space 3 is still an enjoyable and worthwhile experience: well-produced, polished and with enough narrative ups and downs (emphasis is very much on the downs) and set-pieces to sustain its ten-hour duration.- Playstation Official Magazine UK

Some aspects, like the tanky controls, definitely feel tired these days. But there’s still an undeniable charm to this low-key adventure that focuses on investigation rather than too many fights. There’s still nothing else quite like it, and this package makes it easier than ever to miss out no longer. [Issue#154, p.90]- Playstation Official Magazine UK
