Infinity's Toy Box mode can hardly be called a kids game, which is strange since the Play Sets that come with the game are an absolute walk in park. There is no challenge whatsoever. Your ultimate goal is to slay your enemies with your katana in the most stylish way as possible. Just like in No More Heroes. Killer is Dead is actually surprising similar to No More Heroes. We could imagine that you're probably still too busy with the main story of Reckoning to be worrying about DLC. But for those who are worried, there's already a first shipment of (pirate themed) DLC. The reason why we go into so much detail about the fighting system is because we've never seen such deep and expansive mechanics in an open world game. There were even times when we felt like drifting made us go slower, despite the boost you build up while doing it, and that's not what drifting should be like. A cool twist is that you have to play every level twice, once in 3D and once in 2D. There is a strong feeling of recognition here that will make fans of the Mega Drive-games feel really nostalgic. SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 was an ugly bastard. The graphical engine behind WWE '12 is much more evolved. The highly detailed wrestlers are a sight for sore eyes. Aiming at the goal with the rear touchpad works incredibly well. Those who have never heard of Retro/Grade will be surprised when the end credits roll a mere seconds after starting the game. You have to interpret the Retro in Retro/Grade quite literally.
