It was possible for Imagineer to innovate its boxing series with Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star but, even if it was born under Ursa Major's auspices, this operation has revealed itself to be lazy and laid down on the saga's past. Boxing with Kenshiro and its partners is fun, if one can control his movements in autonomy: there are no specific devices and it's a shame, given the complexity of the noble art. Sure, the steep price doesn't help also considering the almost total absence of innovation comparing the product to its predecessor, Fitness Boxing 2.

F1 2015 offers a good gameplay and good graphics, but the lack of modes, the damage system still imperfect and some bugs have an impact on the overall evaluation.

A game clearly made by Smash aficionados, with great gameplay based on solid and layered mechanics. It's weak when it comes to content, and nothing to write home about from a technical standpoint, but its solid netcode and good combat system are more than enough to capture a loving community of fighting game fans.

With this game Maxis owes a debt to Blizzard but these guys also have a deep and varied videogame. Darkspore is a very good hack & slash with huge replay value and relevant spikes of gameplay.

System 3's last effort for PS3 is a very difficult game, dedicated to the purists of the genre, which unfortunately does not offer a technical implementation to match the current standards but has plenty of cars and modes.

This new episode in the Risen saga is targeted at the long-time fans of the series and it's packed with a lot of quests and accomplishments. Sadly a frustrating combat system and old-gen graphics relegate to the hardcore gamers this fascinating RPG.

Explodemon! is a decent action platformer which bases its gameplay on the explosions and does it pretty well. Across three different planets you have to deal with a large number of enemies, but the funniest part is the puzzles you must solve in order to activate switches and doors. Too bad the boss fight are very repetitive and the graphics lack of originality.

This isn't the best game in the series, but it's a fun and addictive puzzle game anyway. The traditional Dr.Mario is still here, and the new "Luigi mode" is an interesting addiction; the online play also works well. An essential and alternative version of a classic.

Yoshi's New Island is not a bad game, but neither the game that the green dinosaur deserved for his comeback. Derivative, too easy and with a bland level design, this is ultimately a nice but easily forgettable experience.

Pro Cycling Manager 2013 brings some nice additions to a solid gameplay, but without anything truly original. The fans of the franchise created by Cyanide will enjoy it again, but if you never loved it you won't start now (once again).

WRC is not what the simulation maniac expect, it could let down the players who desperately need something that is gone missing in the recent years, and is also plagued by visuals that are not up to date, but it has a long career and a good handling system sometimes jeopardized by a strange and not so well devised a.i.

All those who miss games like Final Fight or Streets of Rage will find in Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes a nice attempt to bring back the same feelings with a different background. The action is clearly very repetitive, but there are plenty of combos and special moves to perform, a total of sixteen characters to unlock (each with its unique campaign) and some very nice graphics both for PS3 and Wii versions.
