Piranha Bytes looks back to Gothic saga as it moves into the future with their new IP. ELEX isn't free from defects, among which are a little inspired setting and a rude combat system, but it will meet the expectations of the hardcore historical fan base.

The game is a really competent "My first adventure" sort of game. Its main points are the links to the old adventures of 80s and 90s and the great respect it shows to the cartoon. Unfortunately it is also a really short experience, and the price you have to afford to buy it, at least in Europe, is not justified at all.

To fully enjoy Ar nosurge you have to 1) read an exhaustive summary of its prequel's plot which never came to the West and 2) completely suspend your disbelief. Once you are done, you will find a deep and solid jRPG below multiple levels of fan service and oddities.

Beneath an amazingly intimidating shell, lies an amazingly complex, deep and satisfying strategy game. Few gamers will pass the first, really hard impact, but those few will be engaged and excited, and, eventually, happy.

Gangstar Rio: City of Saints is not just a GTA clone but it represents a work of optimization by Gameloft, with a better control system and a lot of enjoyable missions. Rio de Janeiro is also an original setting and the sandbox-game fans should give it a try.

Crash Team Rumble is fun and undeniably based on a good idea, since it tries to translate the classic platforming of Crash Bandicoot into a whole new multiplayer experience, however the absence of other modes and heroes, and mostly a lot of balance issues, deeply affect the outcome of the experiment crafted by Toys for Bob.

Engaging campaign, deep character development and nice addictions to the action RPG genre are enough to make us happy, although Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is far from perfect and has still to face the endgame chaos god.

14000 square kilometers are not enough to make a good game. Fuel tries to overlap its competitors by taking a sand box approach to the genre, but it fails by offering races that are neither challenging nor thrilling set in enormous and boring open spaces.

Code Veronica X was one of the greatest titles in the Resident Evil saga, but the curiosity to know what terrified gamers ten years ago would be the only reason to buy an overpriced game with such an out-of-date gameplay.

Pro Cycling Manager 2014 surely is what cycling fans want to manage their two-wheeled heroes. But it was published with some technical flaws that Cyanide partially addressed with a late patch, and still doesn't have a good tutorial for newcomers.

Modern Combat Versus is a great showcase, most likely the most visually sophisticated shooter ever seen om mobile, and likewise boasts precise, intuitive touch controls. It is a shame that such a system has not been put in the service of a proper campaign, as experience is confined to competitive multiplayer with a single game mode.

Bright Memory Infinite is a first step in the right direction but certainly not the premium shooter that many expected, since it's very short but also available at a very low price. The two hours needed to beat the game are a lot of fun, however, and we really hope this is just the beginning for this project.
