There's so much joy in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, with so many avenues to head down that it always feel like your story is unique. There might appear to be too much to do by yourself, however, as long as you find your own comfort zone, there's no telling just how much fun you'll have.

Shadow Warrior 3 takes the franchise back to basics in terms of structure while adding new mechanics and weapons to keep it fresh.

Days Gone has some moments of brilliance, but there're far too may bugs. The hordes improve the game drastically, it's just a shame that a lot of the game suffers in other avenues.

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is an excellent adventure game. It has a likeable protagonist, an interesting world, and satisfying combat.

Although the Hitman Bangkok mission isn’t as good as others, it’s still another solid entry into a well-crafted series -- providing stunning visuals and varied opportunities to kill.

It may not be the best in the genre, and it certainly has its problems, but you’re given an intriguing mystery to solve in an interesting and unique setting.

At this point, I’d hold off on the Switch port unless you have absolutely no other platform to play it on. I always prefer playing these kinds of games on a portable but the performance issues, input lag, and load times make this not much fun. My experience on Xbox One has been the opposite and I’m even more addicted to this than I was with Stardew Valley in my initial hours across both games. With over 30 hours played across Xbox One and Switch, I can’t wait to see it improve over time on both platforms and hopefully it is fixed for portable play on the Switch.

An enjoyable enough adventure through Warhammer 40K’s dark future that never quite manages to exhilarate you.

Even if you’re not a fan of bullet hell you should give Earth Atlantis a try, this really doesn’t deserve to sink without a trace.

Despite Larry himself not changing in thirty years, Wet Dreams Don't Dry still feels relevant, self-aware and has some decent puzzles for fans of the genre too.

Beyond Blue is an overtly educational game that has a message worth sharing. The experience is pleasant enough, but other games manage to convey the majesty and beauty of the ocean more elegantly.

Sand Land is a by-the-numbers anime adaption that is filled with great character design and some enjoyable vehicular combat.

If you don’t go in expecting something groundbreaking, there’s a lot to like here, the simple elegance of the button-mashy combat and the broad range of skills and weapons offering enough variety to keep things fresh throughout an impressively-sized campaign.

Circus Electrique combines tricky turn-based combat and circus management to create a wonderful game for those willing to learn all the mechanics.

Thicker Than Water is the best episode yet, and as it finished I was left with the all too familiar feeling of nervousness and fear us Walker fans are used to. Telltale Games makes great use of Walkers, too, and you remember just how random and deadly their attacks can be. Going into Episode Five it’s going to be interesting to see how the group dynamic works after the crazy events of the end, and just how the gang are going to recover. There’re still plenty of issues with the animation on the character’s eyes, and some of the facial animations aren’t telling of what they’re actually trying to say, but forget this due to the gripping nature of the story. It’s clear to see why The Walking Dead is Telltale Games’ jewel in the crown, and if the previous two seasons have taught us anything, it’s to bring your hankies to the finale.

The light-hearted fun gameplay is still prevalent here and while the game has many good points, the disappointments within LEGO Marvel's Avengers means it never really live up to its potential.

Hardcore fans of old school western RPG’s may have a good time, but the majority will find it confusing and uninspired.

Fairy Tail is an incredibly satisfying turn based RPG, with tons of growth systems to invest in. You need a good knowledge of the show to get maximum enjoyment, but for fans it doesn't get any better than this.

A slow start, but Hero in Residence ends on a high note with an interesting new enemy and a very funny new character.

Aragami is a superb stealth game with a gorgeous visual design and a protagonist that feels as lithe and graceful as you'd expect a ninja to be.

Star Trek: Resurgence offers a genuine thrill for big fans of the series, and more of a curio to anyone else.

Farpoint isn't bad, and to PSVR players who've never experienced anything like it, it may resonate harder. But know that there's far better out there in the same space.
