Donkey Kong Country Returns HD has all the typical characteristics of a Nintendo game: beautiful, full of charisma and with infinite creativity. The story is almost non-existent and the multiplayer chaotic, but this remake shows the strength of the Donkey Kong mascot.- Eurogamer Portugal

A commendable effort by Ubisoft to present its cult classic in the best possible light. You can easily identify its age through some elements of the design and gameplay, which can serve as criticism, but much more as praise.- Eurogamer Portugal
