Swap Force is the best game in the series to date, has a lot of content to offer and covers a wider range of audience. Even experienced players will be lost in the rhythm and variety that sometimes looks like a marriage between Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. You need a serious amount of money to make the most of it, but at the same time, when you decide to buy another Skylander, you know how much value it represents to your own adventure on the television.

Killzone 3 is undoubtedly a game recommended to fans of the genre who are seeking an alternative to the more common scenarios, and this is still a great asset in the series of Guerrilla Games, its futuristic scenario. However, much of its new personality seems to be very inconsistent and often fails to become interesting.

Overall it's the best NBA game to date; the team at Visual Concepts did extremely well tuning the new system controls, though I would not discard the idea that there is still work to do in this field. This 2014 version is not quite a farewell to this generation, because we will have the same game, a version on steroids for the new consoles later this year.

Madden NFL 26 is yet another detailed coverage of the NFL, recreated with high authenticity and graphic quality. In this year's edition, even with the annual pace, EA Sports manages to bring several important new features to refine gameplay and overall quality, while singleplayer modes show enormous potential for months of entertainment.

Dead or Alive Dimensions fully justifies the interest of fans or new players. The way the various events are presented in story mode is able to maintain the interest of both.

Football Manager 2014 will not bring any great addition as was the mode Classics last year, but a refining to the way we interact with various elements of the game, with special emphasis on tactics and interface. It continues as the deepest, more complex and detailed football coach simulator around, and a “guaranteed addiction” for the entire year.

Mirror’s Edge isn’t just an incredible game it’s an outstandingly “outside of the box” experience. It’s amusing, attractive, intuitive and above all it is very rewarding. The campaign itself doesn’t win in the longevity aspect but it is capable of hooking the gamer with its beauty that sometimes seems like a riddle.

Within the splendid Xenoblade series, Chronicles X is still its own title, whose science fiction setting allows for concepts such as Skells that make the whole experience even more distinctive. It's one of the great JRPGs of the last decade, in its definitive version.

A better resolution, improved lighting and controls result in a qualitative leap for Luigi's Mansion 2 for the Switch as a portable game. The absence of the second screen is felt, the 3D effect not so much, while the body of the experience moves on without any new developments.

Black Ops 2's campaign is perhaps the weakest one since Modern Warfare came on the scene. However, the multiplayer accompanied by Zombies reinforces Black Ops 2 and turns this into one of the more desirable games.
