NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is starting to show its true potential. Few minor changes in the gameplay and more game modes could transform a good game in the true NBA Jam successor.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is a brand new game in the tactical turn based jRPG series by Nippon Ichi and Nis America. This game introduces several new mechanics aiming to update the classic system and to attract new players, and it finally switches 2D sprites with 3D models. If you are a turn-based jRPG addicted, Disgaea 6 will keep you busy for more than a while.

Hybrid represents a good attempt for 5th cell in the TPS multiplayer genre, that will surely entertain you during this summer. The engine runs smoothly at 60 FPS, the gameplay is solid though not innovative, and the game will prove worthwhile whether played alone or with a couple of friends.

Minute of Islands is a beautiful experience that reminds us to be human. We are weak but we are also brave.

After the bad debut on the next-gen with the last year’s chapter, the WWE saga comes back in great form. The complex and tactical gameplay make it a game for a few fans, but enthusiast will have a great time.

Pick 'n Mix with super-heroes. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is the game Switch needs right now but not the one we deserves.

One of the few games that doesn't sacrifice its core mechanics to tell a story.

The turn-based combat system is deep and well-managed, though not immediately intuitive and easy. However, the title is not free from technical defects due to some clipping problems, which do not spoil the experience.

Hard Reset is an old school FPS, a game where speed is everything. Flying Wild Hog first game takes the player into a realistic sci-fi world, giving the feeling that perhaps the evolution of this genre is not really an evolution.

Samurai Warriors 4-II, as a remake of a title released just a year ago, for the few new contents introduced, is disappointing. Considering it as musou, however, is fun despite the repetitive gameplay.

Clearly imitating the Dark Souls’ combat system and resources management, The Surge can give more action to the “masocore” crowd. The plot is not especially deep and enemies not so charming, but the high difficulty and a nice look can satisfy the fans that are searching for something to get angry for after the end of Miyazaki’s series.

Iron Danger is a splendidly innovative effort in the RPG scene. The time manipulation mechanic works neatly, until it doesn’t because of the too many enemies on the screen. Production values are also, in general, pretty high.

My Time at Portia is a social sim, an rpg, a craf-based adventure game. There are a lot of things to do and a mysterious plot to discover. This is a very ambitious, relaxing and “genuine” game. Everything is well refined and fun: with some constant polish and improvement it could become a must for all lovers of crafting games.

Overwatch for Switch continues to be one of the best hero shooters ever, despite some problems related to Nintendo hybrid controls. It may not be the best version on the market but it's still a lot of fun.

Spellforce 3 simplifies and merges with success RPG and RTS mechanics. The game is funny but there are some balancing issues during the strategy phase, with an AI that is too aggressive and overwhelming. Some bugs and other little technical problems do not sink the production at all, but prevent it from reaching the top.

The reboot of Killer Instinct is pure gameplay with a well-crafted combat system. The rock solid 60 fps action is fun as hell for those who will try to master the shiny gameplay. Sadly, the lack of content is a big issue and six characters are simply not enough.
