If the clichés of a gameplay true to himself since the days of Ezio Auditore still don't bother you, the PC Version of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is as beautiful to see as much as enjoyable to play.

Professor Layton comes to the 3DS with an entirely new 3D presentation, one of the best stereoscopic effects to date and a new adventure that, if not as "fresh" as the original, is still as compelling and unique as its visual style.

Although the quality of its base concept is undeniable, Fallout: New Vegas proves to be a basic "more of the same" title that, though proposing an incredible number of quests and different situations, is unable to assure the same kind of revolutionary experience that Fallout 3 offered us two years ago.

Nintendo Switch is the best system on which to play Inside. Playdead's masterpiece, two years after its publication, confirms itself as an exciting, fun and exciting game.

Codemasters has succeeded in the difficult task to bring back to life a famous IP, looking forward to a multiplatform future, which has just started. If you are among those people from the 'old school', feel free to add half point to the final mark. If you aren't, and are looking for an easy game, just do the opposite and look for another game.

Magic 2014 Duels of Planeswalkers is a solid and intriguing version of the renowned card game. Wizards of the Coast still limits the experience to bring people to their shops: will they resist next year with Scrolls, World of Warcraft: Heartstone, HEX e Might & Magic: Duel of Champions coming?

Bioshock the Collection is an incredible package quality-wise. 2K made some history of videogames with this series and offering it in a graphically improved package for the price of one AAA title feels just right.

Metroid Prime Trilogy is an offer you can't refuse: a must-buy for the most devoted fans and for anyone who hasn't yet related with one of the most astonishing sagas in the whole gaming universe, but at the same time an avoidable compilation for those who have already played the three masterpieces.

Firewatch is an incredible and excellent adventure. Despite some frame rate issues, Campo Santo’s first project is a must have for anybody in search of a solid and unforgettable story.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is definitely one of the best Wii U exclusives. The gameplay is deep, the number of missions is huge and thanks to the online feature it's the best version of the third generation of Monster Hunter. If only Capcom had taken advantage of the console capabilities, we would be standing in front of a masterpiece.

The Sims 4 has solid foundations. We love the new focus on the Sims but we can't understand why there's a loading for every damn house, when The Sims 3 was a little open world.

What Square Enix has put together is a great karting game, with some good gameplay ideas that also try to detach the product from its very clear and inevitable source of inspiration. However, the mixture lacks some balance, especially in the balance between effort and reward.

Team ninja has succeeded in making a souls-like action RPG with a combat system on the verge of perfection, supported by a compelling and interesting story. Unfortunately, the reuse of assets and the multiplayer system ruin the overall quality of Nioh 2.

Battletoads is a love poem to the games of a dramatically distant past and an almost completely successful attempt to refresh a brand, to make the nostalgic happy and intrigue the youngest: a game, in short, full of heart and desire to entertain ... and torment the more casual gamers.

It's not always easy to develop a game with a new physics engine but Konami did well. Unfortunately PES 2014 still has some issues with the collisions system, but it's a great start for the new era of this brand.

Nintendo Land is something that goes beyond the simple teaching of the new features of the console and the controller. It makes you want to go on with the next attraction. It's a title that will give you much more than just one night with friends, in fact, you'll probably enjoy it better on your own. Too bad for some recycled mechanics and for some attractions less successful than others.

With the Dead Kings DLC, Ubisoft has done a good job adding interesting mechanics and ideas to the original (and quite boring) Unity’s gameplay. Despite the lack of an interesting story, this DLC is entertaining thanks to the different peace granted by the Catacombs, with their nice puzzles. It’s a free DLC. Just enjoy it, and have fun.
