Aggressors: Ancient Rome is literally a diamond in the rough. It is an incredibly deep and interesting take on the 4X genre with subpar graphics and some rough edges in the UI.

Funny, stylish and engaging. Feudal Alloy is an original Metroidvania that will put to the test your love for the genre.

Utawarerumono:Prelude to the Fallen is an excellent remake of the visual novel that started a much loved saga in Japanese territory. This remake is an excellent opportunity for many curious people to learn about the game, never officially localized in any western language until now.

Watch Dogs Legion is a rather fun game built on the basis of a very interesting storyline. Too bad that gameplay is excessively anchored to the two previous chapters, and the tech side is quite disappointing.

Paper Mario Color Splash is a colorful, funny and entertaining game. Nintendo has changed a lot of things with this franchise. The episode on GameCube is still the best one, but with Color Splash a lot of people will be able to have fun enjoying a great game, without thinking about 4k and mid-gen consoles.

Another solid entry in the “Batman Arkham” saga, despite some minor technical issues and the lack of new gameplay features.

An applause for the Danish team ThroughLine Games, which gives us an emotional journey that even the teacher Hayao Miyazaki would be proud of. Do not be stunned by the atmosphere of this game is impossible.

Firewatch is an incredible and excellent adventure. Despite some frame rate issues, Campo Santo’s first project is a must have for anybody in search of a solid and unforgettable story.

Demigod is a good game with huge potential and that's why we expected more from it. It's not possible to blame its deep gameplay and fascinating design but we can't ignore the monotony that fills every mode in the game.

Midnight Fight Express is a good-looking beat em up that draws heavily on classic action and hardboiled movies to create a far deeper fighting experience than expected. If you are craving a direct, challenging and full of possibilities action game, look no further.

Ground Zeroes gives us a good preview of Phantom Pain, but it's too expensive for only few hours of gameplay. It's a good game but is it a good Metal Gear?

Maybe not the best episode of the season, Beyond the Alley of the Dolls has the task to prepare the ground for the upcoming ending. It does its work quite well, unfortunately losing a good deal of its glow.

Sports Champions is a nice experience, and is the demonstration of the PlayStation Move qualities. Some design problems with a couple of mini-games ruin the overall experience, but it's a pretty launch title.

Diggs Nightcrawler is a really good new interactive story for the Sony's Wonderbook. It's built upon a really good Augmented Reality engine and is full of fun ideas, characters and backgrounds. Maybe it is too short, but you will love to read it more than once.

Resident Evil is still a masterpiece but this remake really doesn't bring any improvement, thinking about the previous version for GameCube (5 years old). It's just commercial but if you missed the last compilation, you can give a chance to Archives.

Different characters but same city and gameplay. Ubisoft could have done more but T-Bone's epilogue is still a good expansion to the Watch Dogs formula.

A pure old style platform ready to trigger your nostalgia and your laughs thanks to the unaltered 2D graphics straight from the late eighties and tons of quotes of old and modern cults. Nothing of totally new but more than a tribute. Rock solid mechanics, variety and a brilliant difficulty balance in level design make Unit4 a good platform for everyone and a hell of a challenge.

.hack is back with the remaster of the G.U. series, adding a brand new chapter. Unfortunatley, the old feeling of the mechanics is now obsolete and not so fun anymore. The big value of the plot remains, but is difficult to suggest if you are not a fan of the JRPG style.

Maybe not properly a videogame, Dear Esther speaks directly to gamers' souls. It's a very intensive experience and, after playing it, it's very likely you will remember this game for a long, long time.

The Signal is everything Alan Wake should have been. In about 2 hours of gameplay, the developers created a great atmosphere, a fantastic gameplay and the right amount of variety. The lack of different kind of situations was the main issue with the original game. The "floating words" idea is fantastic, and brings an awesome and original feature inside a previously boring gameplay.

As a 2D shooter, Not A Hero: Super Snazzy Edition works great. As a remake, just three new levels feels like too little of an effort.

MX vs ATV is a nice offroad game. The dynamic ground morphing system works really well, and is an important factor to study during every race. The weight management really gives the sensation of being in control of the motorbike. Thumbs down for the PS3 version, worse than the 360 one due to some graphic problems (pop-up e slow loading textures).

No evidence of the 2K effect can be spotted playing WWE 2K14. Yuke's has tried to change something for both graphics and gameplay but the final result is a clumsy and hardly balanced experience. Just wait for WWE 2K15.
