Gorgeous visuals and a great soundtrack are strong weapons in this one, but everything else is below expectations.

Crimson Dragon is a good game. Funny, sometimes engaging, but it isn't Panzer Dragoon and although sometimes it really gets close, it fails to reach the heights of its predecessor.

Orwell's Animal Farm could have been something really special, but plays like a flat interactive fiction that will (maybe) please those who have loved the original novella.

TV Superstars is a funny collection of minigames, with a good multiplayer but some control issues.

Another Dynasty Warriors title that will probably appeal only the ultimate fans of the series. For everybody else, there's so much to choose from on the shelf these days.

Beware Planet Earth is a simple clone of tower defense that tries to mix some of the gameplay elements of Plants vs. Zombies with the setting of Burton’s Mars Attacks! The idea is fine but the war between cows and aliens isn't as fun as the one between vegetables and the undead.

Circus Electrique is like a juggling show not perfectly balanced. The narrative idea works fine and the Tactical RPG/Management mechanics are all in the right places but some gameplay elements slow down the pace and the entertainment factor.

Windward carries the player to a 17th century ship command through competitive battles, where key to the victory is extreme grinding.

Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is a "Kinect addicted" game. The good use of the vocal commands is pretty interesting and could be really hilarious with few friends gathered into the same room. Pity for the short length and the too-easy difficulty level.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is a party game featuring a rich cast of 40 characters from the worlds of Super Mario and Sonic, who battle themselves through the Olympic events. Unfortunately, a set group of characters is limited to certain events, the story mode is short, flat and somewhat uninteresting.

With Just Dance 4 on Wii U Ubisoft is still applying the "more of the same" rule. The game is pretty much the same played on PS3, 360 and Wii, with just three bonus tracks and small differences here and there.

Testo: There's no way you can escape his fury. This is the ultimate goat simulation game, but also the only goat simulation game.

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is an interesting experiment. The episodic structure is really nice, and the artworks are simply awesome. The lack of a good story, the abuse of anime stereotypes, and an odd combat system are the most important issues of this game. Still, this is a good way to start playing visual novels, for novices.

There Came an Echo is a simplified tactical game with the best voice recognition software ever included in a videogame. Unfortunately the simplification seems too heavy and the voice gimmick is both not perfect and not that entertaining on his own.

Another crazy circus of characters by Goichi Suda, but this time even the beam katana of Travis Touchdown can't save No More Heroes III from falling down to the bottom of the chart.

Far from being a revolutionary horror game, Home Sweet Home delivers some genuine and folkloristic jump scares. Too bad it doesn't have a true ending... how long we should wait for the second (and hopefully last) episode?

The Shore is a first person story driven game with a beautiful atmospheric environment. Unfortunately its gameplay and narrations have many gaps.

Railway Empire is a fine and intriguing strategic game about the onset of the railway business in America. The Switch version is not the ideal way to play it as the interface is marred by some very bad decisions.

Field of Glory is nothing more than an electronic board game. All is pretty tasteless but also very functional. Some flaws in the AI make the game more enjoyable in multiplayer rather than in single player.

Edge of Time is just a washed-our version of the previous game, Shattered Dimensions. If Beenox wants to strike back with the next Amazing Spider-Man, it must change something.

A voyage into the past, Carrier Commando Gaea Mission presents a great, original idea in a fresh gameplay. Pity that this effort is ruined by a very poor AI.

A roguelike dungeon-crawler RPG with some good gameplay mechanics, a boring story and frustrating difficulty level.

The return of Kao the Kangaroo offers a decently enjoyable action-platform experience with nostalgic graphics and soundtrack, unfortunately flawed by several bugs, glitches and a difficulty level too low for experienced platformers.
