Though having some undeniable qualities, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record fails to improve on its predecessor, proving just a mere more of the same. Just for fans.

Asura's Wrath is an interesting experiment with huge balancing issues. This cool anime-style action game is too story-oriented, with tons of animated sections and just a little bit of gameplay. This could be a good starting point for CyberConnect2's future projects, but next time the developers should aim for a more balanced experience.

Monster Rancher 1&2 DX is a controversial operation. On the one hand, it has the merit of expatriating a franchise with its own history with more decision, although the weight of time is inexorably felt on the life-simulator jrpg offer of the first two chapters of the franchise.

With The Jackal and The Khan, FireFly ends the contents offered by Stronghold Crusader 2. From an holistic point of view, the DLC increases the longevity of the game, but if taken individually doesn’t introduce any innovation.

The PC version of Dawnguard is only slightly better than the console one, and deserves the attention of Elder Scroll's most rabid fans: if with Skyrim you had enough of bugs and glitches, then it's better to consider this DLC after the patch that Bethesda will provide to all PC players. Hopefully, sooner than later.

Resident Evil is still a masterpiece but this remake really doesn't bring any improvement, thinking about the previous version for GameCube (5 years old). It's just commercial but if you missed the last compilation, you can give a chance to Archives.

Lost Planet 3 has lost the appeal of the original chapter and fails to compete with other TPSs such as Gears of War and Dead Space. The Campaign is boring and it lacks interesting elements.

While aesthetically charming and quite entertaining to play, there’s not enough content to declare Valhalla Hills a success. This, paired with a questionable price point, makes it an experience to embrace just if you’re a big Settlers fan. Otherwise wait for the unavoidable price drop.

MXGP Pro provides a good Motocross experience, but it suffers some sort of content ‘stalement’ and it’s the less technically polished Milestone title to be released this year.

Not one of the best chapter in the long-lasting Traveller's Tales' series. The Incredibles features an irresistible cast and some clever sections, but also a messy + too-easy gameplay.

Vampyr for Nintendo Switch, ported by Saber Interactive, faces obvious technical limits, which make it an experience not always easy to enjoy.Doubts also remain about the portable nature of a title of this kind, slow and extremely narrative to its core. However, it remains a good addition to the Switch library, although it is the worst version.

Dr. Luigi for the series is more a step backward than a leap forward. No four players modes, two game modes too simple and some issues in the online connectivity, are not a good business card for a game that asks 15 euros to be bought. Not the right prescription for Wii U's illness.

LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is not a bad game: what worked yesterday is still working today, yet the formula is starting to be a little abused and tiring. The Indy theme paired with the iconic colored blocks might still win some hearts, but for the future significant innovations are really needed.

King of Seas is an average production, at times interesting, but that on the whole fails to involve players. Game dynamics soon become repetitive, the narrative struggles to take off and the artistic side could have been better. A real pity, since pirate games are never enough and the project was quite intriguing.

Lord of Arcana is a Monster Hunter like action game. The Capcom franchise, anyway, looks much better than this Square Enix experiment. Lord of Arcana is graphically flat, and the lack of a wi-fi multiplayer is a huge problem for this kind of title.

Shadowrun Chronicles Boston Lockdown is an online tactical RPG marred with quite many issues. Still its gameplay idea is solid and the multiplayer mode could be quite a joyous experience. Given enough time to devs to solve its issues it could reach unexpected heights.
