10 Films to See in February
The shortest month of the year is typically an uninspiring one at the cineplex. But this February is not without its intriguing releases, including a well-reviewed new horror film from Key & Peele's Jordan Peele, one of the best documentaries in recent memory, the year's only Polish vampire musical (so far), an Oscar-nominated animated tale, and sequels to recent successes like John Wick and The LEGO Movie.
This Danish drama was just nominated for best foreign language film at this year’s Academy Awards. Based on an untold true story and written and directed by Martin Zandvliet (Applause), the film combines complex characters with gripping tension as it follows a group of young German POWs forced to defuse and clear land mines from the Danish coast at the end of WWII.
