Simulation/Management
Out November 9 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One
First released in 2018, film tie-in Jurassic World Evolution was a management sim that allowed you to construct your own dinosaur park. Critics loved the game's looks but felt that it lacked the depth and details necessary in a good park management game. Now the same developer, Frontier Developments, is back with a sequel that hopes to correct the problems of its predecessor. Filled with over 75 realistic prehistoric species (many not in the first game) as well as a variety of new locations, JWE2 will feature four different game modes, including an original story-based campaign set after the events of the recent film Fallen Kingdom, another called "Chaos Theory" that lets you reenact moments from the film franchise, and the returning "Challenge" and "Sandbox" modes, with the latter promising deeper management tools this time around. Lending their voices to the game are stars from the films like Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard.
