Don't worry: It's not an adaptation of the plot-less videogame (though we know how badly you wanted to see Chris Pratt portraying sideways L-block). Instead, the Apple-exclusive film (heading to the streaming service a few weeks after a SXSW premiere) takes a fictionalized look at the creation of Tetris and the story of how entrepreneur Henk Rogers (Taron Egerton) made a daring trip to the Soviet Union in 1988 to help inventor Alexey Pajitnov (Nikita Efremov) bring Tetris to the world and make videogame history. Jon S. Baird (Stan & Ollie) directs a film that is already being likened to The Social Network, at least in terms of tone.
