Animated series debuts February 18 on Netflix
It may technically be a kids' show, but that doesn't mean you can't watch. The acclaimed 2017 videogame Cuphead was a platformer noted for a visual style that was modeled after the classic cartoons of the 1930s. Now it has become a cartoon itself, produced by the same studio (and directors) behind the game. Netflix's new animated series centers on the game's main characters Cuphead and Mugman and antagonist King Dice over 12 short episodes echoing the game's art design. (It also includes characters from the upcoming Delicious Last Course DLC.) And it's a lot easier to watch than the game is to play.
