Shows are ranked by Metascore (an average of grades from top professional critics on a 0-100 scale) prior to rounding, and any programs with fewer than 7 reviews are excluded. (Note that limited series, as well as TV movies and specials, are ranked in a separate list.)
The most buzzed-about new network show this fall was this sentimental ensemble family dramedy from Dan Fogelman (Galavant), which ended its debut episode with a major twist that appears to have hooked viewers. The cast includes The People v. O.J. Simpson standout Sterling K. Brown along with Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, and Justin Hartley.
