Multi-game compilations and newly released ports of games released in prior years on other platforms are excluded, unless they are substantially different from the prior release(s) (for example, an HD remaster of a previous-gen game that also adds some new content).
The first of two 2021 Monster Hunter titles, the timed Switch-exclusive Rise brings the fantasy action-RPG series into the new "ninja-inspired" locale of Kamura Village. Gameplay is similar to that of 2018's Monster Hunter World (albeit with new additions including a new "Rampage" survival mode), and you can hunt on your own or with up to three companions. A PC port should arrive in 2022.
