Best film in the "DC Films universe"

The scene of Martha, who caused so much ink to flow ...

Scene a little awkward, it's true, but so powerful by its symbolism and its consequence on the characters.

It is a gem.


This movie is a gem.

The long version is almost perfect and only makes us regret the "Snyder Cut" that we all hope to see one day.… Expand

First of all, it does what the title says. God vs Human. Batman v Superman.
An alien who is trying to be good but everybody just keeps blaming him for damage he causes. All he is trying to do is live a normal life and then comes Bruce Wayne who is just amazing. Batman and Bruce Wayne, both show totally different personalities.

Also the movie introduces the hero girls were looking for. Wonder Woman!

Plus all those cameos and that Knightmare scene. So epic!… Expand

This is more of a response to the idea that "it was too early to do a Batman vs Superman movie in the DCEU".... Why? It makes perfect sense that Batman would want to fight superman before he truly knows his intentions and gets to knowThis is more of a response to the idea that "it was too early to do a Batman vs Superman movie in the DCEU".... I really liked that movie. I'm not so much into the "DC Universe" so I guess I enjoyed so much because i don't know the flaws it might have in the plot.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice did not receive the greatest praise from people. I used to sit on TV and suddenly it started running on HBO, so I thought I'd give it a try and in the finale I was happy. Almost the whole film doesn't happen at all, which may be the hate, but I personally enjoyed it, mainly because in the end we will see the phenomenal battle that we have been waiting for the whole film. It's as if the movie has been preparing you for that fight all along and then releasing it at you. For me, a good film that I can recommend mostly to DC fans.… Expand

This is a much better movie than most can seem to understand. Its clear from reading many reviews MCU is some how clouding reviewers. I think the directors cut is far better but this is still a great movie.

It's the 1st time these particular two have faced off in cinema, the 3hr film is easily watchable with something to keep you engaged throughout. After reading Dark Knight Returns as a kid I always wanted to see a live action team up and fight between these two, was it worth the wait? absolutely and finally a Batman who does not have an issue crippling the bad guys, people seem to haveAfter reading Dark Knight Returns as a kid I always wanted to see a live action team up and fight between these two, was it worth the wait? absolutely and finally a Batman who does not have an issue crippling the bad guys, people seem to have an issue with this Batman being brutal yet in Burton's, Schumachers and even the Nolans movies he has has killed the bad guys and the main villains and to quote heath ledger "people see those movies and nobody bats an eye, but then BvS Batman comes along and kills people lose there minds", fact is both superman and batman have killed in the comics only some people are too damn lazy to look it up. Loved the film but loved the Ultimate Edition more.… Expand

The theatrical Cut is messy. You have to watch the Ultimate Cut of Batman v Superman. Only in this version the plot makes sense. The UC is absolutely enjoyable: Great acting, badass Batman, gritty tone. A fantastic score. A movie for adults.The theatrical Cut is messy. You have to watch the Ultimate Cut of Batman v Superman. Just Jesse Eisenbergs interpretation of Lex Luthor is over the top.
When my review was written I have watched it for the third time: First time in cinema was a big disapointment. Now I know: This movie is a grower. I'll watch the Ultimate Cut several Times.
In context with all the other movies in the DCEU it's the absolute core of what makes that cinematic universe great. Hopefully the Sender Cut of Justice League fullfills the storyline.… Expand

This is something different, which I like, but understand that many do not. This is no longer the Batman we once knew and not jet the Superman we love. The political thriller like script by Chriss Terrio is captivating, the tension is felt throughout the movie, amplified by the incredible score by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. Thanks to costume designer Michael Wilkinson, Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman have never looked better, and the latter has the best superhero introduction of all time. Not the easiest movie to digest, but I recommend for everyone to check it out and make up his/her mind about it. Snyder most certainly dares to be different and on the long run history will reward him for it.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. WHERE are the plot holes?? I understood perfectly the movie without any problem, maybe Marvel's audience need to open his little brain to cinecomics a little bit more complex.
A Cinecomic with the big C, amazing score, amazing Batman (with the best fight ever seen on screen in the hero's history), amazing dialogues, Luthor yes is a bit different from the character but It's not a problem cause the acting is so freakin good.
Doomsday's fight stunning and WW theme...that's a serious and glorius cinecomic, without stupid gags for children.
Not understanding the meaning of the "Martha scene" show how people don't even have a brain… Expand

Я конечно понимаю то что у всех мнения разные, но я не думал то что большинство людей так люто ненавидят это фильм, он просто ШИКАРЕН!!! Я наверное 1 из 10% людей на земле у кого этот фильм пока что до просмотра аквамена, Шазама, хищных птиц и отрряда самоубийц Джеймса Ганна САМЫЙ ЛУЧШИЙ ФИЛЬМ КИНОВСЕЛЕННОЙ DC!!! Может я преоиеенил фильм, но он мне реально настолько вкатил! Сюжет, персонажи (чего только Лекс Лютор стоит с Дианой) многие жалуются то что персонажи тупые потому что тупо сражаются и враждуют между собой без особой мотивации, зачем Лексу нужна битва титанов, почему после битвы с Кларком Брюс внезапно хочет ему помочь, это же ТУПО! Не не не не не, вы кажется невнимательно смотрели фильм. 1. Мотивация, ну вот сами представЬте, какой пришелец в борьбе с другим пришельцем не замечает людей и прохожих разрушает здания, лешает родственников у семьи, да и ещё здание с работой Брюса Разрушил, да ничаяно, но Брюс же об этом не знал, да и сам он не особо доверял супермену, а Кларк против его потому что считает то что пытать людей, колечить их и СПЕЦИАЛЬНО убивать ПРЕСТУПНИКОВ! Вот и вражда у них такая! 2. Лекс психопат, который любит навести суету, + он к обоим персонажам относится плохо, к Кларку по той же причине что и Брюс, к Брюсу за то что он он против его. 3. Брюс настолько отбил голову Кларку что тот перестал здраво соображать, и просто выкрикнул ему из под копья "спаси Марту" (его маму которую похитил Лекс), так же звали маму Брюса, которую он не смог спасти, для него эти слова бросаются в душу, он осознаёт то что Кларк не такой плохой человек и они идут в атаку! Единственный минус как по мне в этом фильме это слабенькая битва против думсдея! А так, фильм просто пушка (смотрел режиссёрскую версию)… Expand
