Cmon, Nintendo, don't let Animal Crossing die.
Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is adorable! But that's all this game really has, it's a complete bore to play. It's a party game, but with all the fun sucked out of it. It has charm and personality, but other than that, it's just not fun. You move around the board/town to gain Happy Points, and while there are some cute events that go on,

It has charm and personality, but other than that, it's just not fun. You move around the board/town to gain Happy Points, and while there are some cute events that go on, there really isn't any incentive to paying attention to the computer doing anything, as there is hardly any spaces that hinder your opponents. The minigames themselves aren't entertaining, making it more of an obligation than a game. The worst part about it is that it's required to have an Amiibo to play; even though the game comes with Amiibo cards, the "full experience" requires you to buy the Amiibos. Nintendo, let me make this clear: I don't want your toys.
Overall, this game is painfully average, it has the charm and cute look to it, but that's all this game really has going for it. It's not a terrible game, not one of the worst Wii U games out there, but it's not a game I would hugely recommend.

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival gets a 5/10.

It's still better than Sonic Adventure. It's also better than Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Unleashed, and every other 3D Sonic game that has ever been released.

It's not the worst game of all time, clearly. It's a bit fun and you can have a great time playing it, but the biggest problem is the abuse of amiibo figures, this game and happy home designer, use the charm of the Animal Crossing series to sell amiibos, and for the worst, people are making this kind of game profitable.

This game is great for Hardcore Animal Crossing Fans but I don't really see the appeal to anyone else. It's just not really the type of game to be converted into a party game like Mario.

This game promised a lot. In the end an underdeveloped electronic board game came out. But when you are playing with people this game may not be as bad. A solid 6 represents well the game. This game fell short but still, the price dropped to 25 bucks. :)

This game, in my opinion, tries to be too much of a board game. I got it out of my love for animal crossing, and I even played it a couple times to try and convince myself that it was a good game, but it never clicked. The only good part of this was the desert island mini-game. The only good part of this was the desert island mini-game. And now even that's obsolete because you can get that in animal crossing through any kind of wii u console item in the game! The main aspect could be made fun, but it just feels like they only put a couple halfhearted lines of text for each event, which repeat several times through just one game. the event days are scarce, and the only point is to get the most bells, happy points, and get those lloid stamps. the game repeats itself and adding amiibo to this doesn't help the cause much, because those don't add anything to the game either really... so I give it a generous but still not up to standards 5/10 Expand

If you can get it for under $/€/£10, it's a steel of a deal. The amiibo are awesome, great quality and they look really good. The amiibo cards also make a great place in your Pokémon card collection.

too bad the game is awful

this is just another mediocre party games. It's not then worst game in the whole world, but it unfortunately lacks content, is overpriced, requires amiibos to play, and gets boring very fast. there are some minigames that are fun to play, but it doesn't justify it's 60 dollar price, and even then, the minigames requires amiibos to play!! are you serious nintendo? it might be fun for athis is just another mediocre party games. Worse Copy of Mario Party, they copied the whole thing with bad grafics and less Minigames. However it‘s a funny partygame to play with friends!

It's a nice way to put your amiibos to use. It's a party game, so don't expect deep or too complex gameplay mechanics, but cards and action figures are implemented in an original and interesting way.

It's digital board gaming at its most basic, with a surprisingly sincere effort from a developer that seems burnt out on the genre.

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is Mario Party but lacking true content!
